It's McDonald's, so not a place I'd normally review, but im goung to, so here goes.
Firstly, the machine was out of paper, so it couldn't issue a receipt for collection.
Secondly, we had to wait for what seemed a lifetime to tell someone what happened so we could receive our paid order.
Thirdly, while standing at the counter waiting, we could see everything going on behind the scenes. No hair nets, gloves, nothing. At one point, I watched a person lean down to retrieve something from the other side of the counter. His face was literally 1 inch away from some orders being put together as he stetched to reach whatever it was he needed. I'd have walked around, but not him lol.
Four, the food took a long time to come out, I mean a long time. I went for a smoke and my missus the toilet and we still waited.
Five, when we finally got served, we took our food to a table to start eating. My missus found hairs on her burger.
Six, frustrated I was having none of it, so we took our food back and complained.
Seven, they were happy to refund, but...
Eight, the manager started saying there was no one with black hair, questioning its potential origin.
Nine, I pointed out point three above while standing watching, and the manager tried to tell us that hair nets, gloves, and all other hygiene precautions were in place. Lol, I could see everything that was going on...
Ten, while still trying to insinuate that the hair could not have come from staff I told the manager to keep the refund but I threatened her with a poor review.

Read moreOrdered a cheeseburger and fries through the app, went through the drive through, gave my code, got to the window to be told my payment had declined so I quickly checked my bank and the payment had not been declined my end, the money was gone from my account to which I showed the staff, she got the manager and after 5 minutes of trying to work out what had happened she told me to come in to the building as it would be easier to sort out, so I then had to go into the store which I was not happy about. I asked what was happening and the ‘manager’ told me she has voided the payment and it should be back in my account within 24 hours even though my bank account is showing a payment has gone out to McDonald’s. So McDonald’s have stolen my money as far as I’m concerned. I see from the reviews this has happened before to others. Get your app sorted and stop stealing peoples money. If the money is not back in my account in 24 hours from the time of purchase I will be back at the store to take this matter further as I will not have any of my money stolen from me by McDonald’s! Absolutely disgusting shocking behaviour from the manager, she turned her back on me as I was asking her to please give me what I have paid for, very rude and needs better training. Read moreCalled at this restaurant for convenience but the way in to the meagre car park is a shared single carriageway with drive through resulting in a lengthy wait to get into the car park my advice is to park elsewhere then walk in. This particular McDonald's is always very busy and today was no exception. Unfortunately I I'd to use the counter to order and was met initially by a sullen woman who completely ignored me and served another female from another part of the counter. Then to add insult to injury she then walked off !!!!! Not used to this kind of customer service .The small bespectacled headscarf wearing operative needs some customer service training I believe. I persevered and eventually a young man took my order . Upon receiving same via table service there was a burger and fries missing but the young blond girl who brought entire order to my table ensured that I received my missing items quickly. She was very polite and her attitude toward me as a customer was great. Those two members of staff made up for the rude one I encountered when arriving .
