Parmesan House Lebanese Grill — Restaurant in Newport

I have ordered 7 times in total ever since the place opened and it was a pleasure eating from there until the last 2 orders. About a month ago our order came really late I'd say took 40 mins longer. When I called they apologised and assured everything would still be hot. Food came and the grill was nice and hot but pizza was luke warm. I called them, they again apologised and said the next time we order (as we are regulars) they'll sort out a discount or sumin. Any we order 5 days ago, mentioned who we were and yet the person who answered didn't feel there was anything he could offer and came across quite rude. We didn't mind in the end as we love the food. Anyhow food came on time this time but the food quality was shocking, chicken was all burnt lamb sheek was fine so we're the ribs there was no chicken shawarma but we only realised about the shawarma after we called them to make them aware of the food being burnt. They sent us chicken sheesh and chicken off the bone pieces which was kind of them but I think that I'd the last the us...

Ordered via Uber eat and food was expected to arrive at 5.30pm. By 6.30pm I rang and they clearly had no idea what they was doing and not listening to what I was saying. Told me I ordered milkshakes when it was a family food order. I was then told it was on its way but it was clearly said to appease me. 15 mins later I had a text to pay £11.45 via the link and again rang, as I was concerned they had my order wrong and I had already paid (a lot more too). I was told my food was ready to go! 45 mins later still no food, so rang again to be told that my food was delivered to another person and they re cooked it and it was on its way. No apology and couldn’t wait to get off the phone. 2 hrs 45 mins later my food arrived. Items missing and the food was dry. You would think as I had waited so long and they clearly messed up they would have placed some extras in too but no. Would never order from here again. Awful service and the food is not that nice...

I do not often write review to any restaurant or take away but I must give a good review to this one.

I ordered with this place twice. Overall, they both are very pleasant and happy experience. They offer very generous size and their food tastes great. The meat from our fisrt time order was bit dry but they are perfect and juicy for our second time order. We tried their boneless chicken, chicken wings, lamb sishi, ribs, lamb chop. The most recommended meat is bondless chicken. The chicken comes with skin which is well marinated, tender, juicy and tasty. Another tip for anyone who also like the Mideast food is it is better to dine in with them if your delivery takes more than half an hour to be with you. Because all the meat are freshly cooked so when it get cold, the oil will dry and the meat will be chewy too. The best way to enjoy this kind of food is to have them within 30mins after cook.
