What truly sets this cafe in Newry apart is its breathtaking outdoor area at the back. Since living in Ireland, I’ve never come across anything like it. It feels like stepping into the South of France or Italy... a slice of the Mediterranean right here in Newry! The retractable roof is the cherry on top, making it perfect no matter the weather. The decor is so thoughtfully designed that you can’t help but admire the creativity behind it. Now, let’s talk about the service. Diane and Victoria were absolutely fantastic... friendly, attentive, and welcoming. They made the experience even more enjoyable. As for the food, it’s as impressive as the decor. Everything is presented beautifully and tastes even better. My personal favorite was the Kinder Bueno milkshake... absolutely divine! A newly opened place. I went with my family for lunch out of curiosity. The place is nicely decorated, the service was friendly, the food was good, and the best part was the fries for the kids. homemade fries. Other restaurants in Newry serve frozen fries to children. The sausages were good quality and very soft. My kids ate everything, and it's rare for a 3-year-old to eat everything. And I know, I know, it's just the fries, but these were fresh and soft. Cosy Corner is a coffee shop with a good food selection ans a beautiful covered courtyard. I wanted to see what vegan options they had and was pleased there was one on the menu. I tried the Vegan Breakfast, which had some sourdough, avocado, tomato, spinach and mushrooms. I thought it was really good and at a very reasonable price point but I would love to see some protein ²added to the dish to bulk it up - maybe some scrambled tofu or something.
