Snaubs Boutique & Cafe — Restaurant in Newry, Mourne and Down District Council

Very disappointed. This is our usual go to place when we visit Newry and we have never had any problems before. The food is usually very good and the staff very helpful but on this occasion we felt seriously let down. We both ordered fish and chips but were served just chips after a bit of a mix up but we had no problem with that. Unfortunately when we received our meal it was a huge disappointment. The fish turned out to be about 60 % batter with a tiny amount of fish in it, which was almost inedible. We left half the dish behind us and when we went to pay were asked did we enjoy it, to which I replied, " not really, you would have found more fish in a single fish finger " . He replied " oh right " and then proceeded to charge us the full amount. No apology and no deduction. POOR...

The staff and service were excellent. The food was just perfect. I was particularly impressed by 'Oralith'. She'd just started started working there 2 weeks previous to my visit. Amazing restaurant. I had an epic burger. A vegan home made spicy beans on sourdough with avocado for the missus. She was delighted, as were the kids. My eldest had a kids portion of the chicken curry and cleaned the plate. The coffees were really really good. The lemon meringue only lasted a few seconds. Will definitely be back.
