I cannot sing the praises of Laura and Daniel loud enough. Following the devastating loss of my wife I needed to find a business to handle the food side of a celebration in a hotel in Lynton (where my wife was born). The morning I and my son and daughter walked into their deli was one of the best during this horrific time. They dealt with us in such a beautiful and supportive way that we immediately knew they were the business to trust in what felt, at that time, as one of the most important decisions we would make. That was just the start. They asked what we were looking for (we wanted the food to make a statement) and with a small budget they assured me they could deliver. At one point I had concerns that I needed to increase the budget, but Laura reiterated and reassured me that I didnāt need to spend anymore money (how many businesses in this day and age would do that?). On the day itself, they arrived exactly at the time agreed and quietly and professionally put the most amazing display together. Many of our guests commented on how beautiful it all was (and delicious!). It all complimented the celebration itself and Laura and Daniel popped in a few times to make sure there was enough food and make sure we were happy. When they arrived to clear up (at the agreed time) they noted that people were still eating and then left and came back an hour later! They even brought dozens of take away boxes so we could take the food home (as Laura said, the last thing weād want to do that evening was cook!). So my wifeās parents and we were able to taste how good it all was (as you can imagine we didnāt feel like eating during the Celebration itself). I highly recommend this business and more importantly I highly recommend Laura and Danielā¦truly decent and special human beings. Thank you both from the bottom of...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is such a delightful little treasure trove of treats-well worth a visit when youāre in lovely Lynton. The owners clearly enjoy what they do, which seems to be to find unusual, local and artisan produce and display it beautifully-in relaxed, friendly surroundings. Tasting is often available and only by trying the pineapple rum recently (made in the south west) did I realise I love it! Fab fresh bakes and fresh products are on offer and Laura and Daniel willingly talk about the provenance of their hand-selected goods; this is what I particularly like about buying in person from a small business. If the Biscoff Millionaire is available, donāt leave without one...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe were surprised to find anywhere open, to have a beveridge, on an early Autumn evening, and were so glad we found this amazing little coffee shop, down a little alleyway, just off the main road, in the small town of Lynton. The premises are unique, it was like being inside a neat little cave, the lighting and decor, adding to the stunning ambience. The service is friendly, and the chocolate mocha is the best we've ever tasted, as the quality of all of their produce is obviously highly sourced. A Little Bit Of What You Fancy, did us really good that day, and I would go as far as to say, that it's the best overall coffeshop experience, I've ever sampled, during...
