Costa Coffee — Restaurant in North Devon

Honestly never normally one to complain. That being said for the first time ever when ordering the pink lemonade the young woman behind the counter (she was still absolutely lovely no fault) added tap water into the strawberry syrup instead of still lemonade. Was generally confused at first thinking that’s how they are made now for my friend who manages a Costa to tell me that’s not right at all and essentially I’d just paid £5 for a few pumps of syrup 💀 I will say this is the only negative experience I’ve had with this particular Costa every other time top notch and the lady who normally makes my pink lemonade you deserve a raise sis because dang iz goooood 😂🫶🏻 and costa pay your staff more for the amount of stress you put on them yours not very sincerely (your staff and management team deserve more than they are getting for the outstanding customer service they always...

Had to give 1 star as it won't let leave no stars. We're to begin? Well first off I was greeted buy a smoking / costa cup drinking homeless kid outside with his colourful chalk scribbles. Upon entry there was a massive que that seemed odd considering it was 4pm on a Saturday and 3 kids was behind the counter serving. After waiting 25 minutes in the que, I ordered there special flavoured almond and vanilla lattes and a cupachino. We sat down to drink this after eventually being served only to find out it was very weak in flavour. The tables were a mess and cluttered even tho an extra member of staff was on duty. Visited while on holiday you could tell the staff was struggling a bit mainly due to Covid situation. It was the manager or team leader chap that said we couldn't sit down as no more seats left, As we had to queue for quite some time the manager said there are now seats available which he saved for us. The staff were really showing urgency behind the counter so I can't fault waiting long that's just how it is.
