Millennium House — Restaurant in North Devon

The service here is disgraceful. Drove a 30 minute round trip to collect a large order for a family of 9. Got back and we were missing a sweet and sour chicken balls from our order. We rang back to be told that we hadn’t ordered them. When then giving them a name for the order they agreed that we had in fact ordered them and proceeded to tell us that they “didn’t know what we had done with them”. They refused to refund us by bank transfer or to deliver the missing item. The girl on the phone seemed to think it was ok as we had all eaten. She believed that when we got home and realised it was missing we should have driven back with all the food to prove the item was missing. Eventually I was given the option to collect the missing item however by this time I wasn’t prepared to do another 30 minute trip to collect them as it hadn’t been our mistake. When I showed my frustration I was told to “calm down” and that I was “ a very rude lady”. I asked to speak to a manager to be told there wasn’t one. Will not be...

Ordered a Chinese for 5 people whilst on holiday in watermouth rang and asked about delivery to be told yes by taxi and it would be £4 to which I agreed normally I would have fetched it but had had a drink asked for the total which came to £37 +4. When it arrived the driver charged us £47.50 when serving up the meal we had ordered chicken fried rice which was literally chicken and rice nothing else. Special fried rice wasn't much better just rice and mixed meat. I ordered chicken with black pepper and it was spicy chicken nuggets with peppers no sauce to go with my not so fried rice, the other 2 meals were OK and that's all they were OK.
