Absolutely disgusted with one of the staff, ( older woman wearing glasses ) How she treated me my husband and my emotional support dog, I suffer with PTSD, mental health, I have major panic attacks and my dog is trained to react if something like that happens to me, she does have ID, tag and all paper work needed to prove why I need her with me, I have never been refused to have her with me ANYWHERE AT ALL! that woman allowed me to sit in one of the tables, next to kid that was coughing and spluttering so badly it shouldn’t be even allowed to be in the eating area with this, maybe covid and just risking other peoples health as well! So we have moved one table further away from this kid and she came back with such a horrible and disgusting attitude told me that I have to move as my dog isn’t allowed in that table! ( coughing and spluttering kid was allowed eat and spreading germs everywhere but my little dog wasn’t! Btw my dog is cleaner than probably some people … we just decided not to eat there eventually and we paid for the coffee and left! That woman was so discriminative and I think she should educate herself about different illnesses and be more polite and understanding ! REPLY: You don’t have allergy on ALL dogs this is just purely not true! There is so many different dogs and furs that is impossible to be allergic at all of them, unless you don’t like them at all ( and that tell me a lot about you as a human ) Swiss is a discriminative place where service dogs are refused and is disgusting! That woman staff, was absolutely horrible and so rude and her attitude was just stinking! Would never come back and would definitely let friends know about...
Read moreA funny little café on Ilfracombe high street. Go to Ilfracombe. It is a great place but stick to the harbour. We ended up in this funny little tea shop because we were starving and had 30 minutes to wait for a bus. They do tea and scones and toasties (grilled sandwiches) and standard sort of lunch fare. They also do milkshakes. Word of warning for non UK tourists: English milkshakes are basically flavoured milk so you might be disappointed with that option. I had the "luxury" version which ended up being flavoured milk with whipped cream on top. Food was fine. Place was clean. Service friendly and prompt. Great for a quick bite but a bit expensive for what it was. At the end of the day, if you find yourself in Ilfracombe head down to the harbour to one of the many eateries there. More fun and a...
Read moreWow! What can I say.......brilliant, fabulous, fantastic, wonderful and excellent! What a lovely little cafe! The owner was very welcoming, the staff very efficient and polite, and the food absolutely sublime. We had a cooked all day breakfast and I cannot praise it enough, a real home cooked taste. The coffee was hot, not the usual mediocre warm you get elsewhere. We took home 2 home made scones which totally melted in the mouth. Best cafe this side of California! If you miss it, you truly miss out! We will be returning, more than likely again, and...
