Spoons breakfast! Eggs Benedict was actually very good. Bargain breakfast. Quickly served after ordered. The blush wine is perfectly chilled. Such a great price. We met with friends here for a wedding at the weekend and used the pub as a base to meet up before and next day. Lovely staff, absolutely spotless toilets and plenty of seats. The tables are quickly cleaned and not sticky. The outside tables are great and there are covers on some of it rains. Lovely views of the hills to be seen from the front windows

We had an all day breakfast which we did not have to wait long for and it was hot. The toilets are on the ground level and there is an accessible toilet. There is street parking. Our table was cleared quite quickly. There is an upstairs garden with a view of the sea. It is child friendly. The menu is the same as any other wetherspoons except the prices are a little more than your local in land pub.

Very good food, really enjoyed and needed. Spent time mooching around Ilfracombe, which was really nice, the restaurant was clean and the staff were friendly. Food came out quick and was very tasty! Lured us into a false sense of security and we thought it would be ok to go to the weatherspoons in the centre of Barnstaple... Bad idea!

Arrived for lunch Easter Friday afternoon. Out back in the car park, 3 staff members stood smoking as we arrived. Kindly ask for some crayons for the kids to do the activity sheet and brushed off with a quick ' no, sorry, havent got any' as they walk off. Attempt to use the app, however there is zero reception here.

At the till, attempt to order food, informed the food option what child A wants is out of stock. Out of second option too. End up asking them what they do have to save the time of playing the 'generation game' of guessing. Next up, order the wifes food, only again to find also out of that option and not doing any pizzas at all. Wait 45 minutes and then have to chase where our food is. Appreciate its busy, however members of our party who ordered seperatly after us had their food arrive before us and were able to finish it. Waitress arrives, the same who i saw smoking out back on my arrival. Food is bland... Honestly, if you are going to spend money on eating out, why bother wasting the opportunity on this place. Kids chicken was dry, with comment on the peas tasting 'funny'. I had the southern chicken wrap which whilst entirely edible was literally three small pieces of chickem nuggets with some lettece in a wrap. The curry was microwave rice... Further chasing up was required for the kids ' yo yo' fruit treats after being forgotten. To end my great experience i then notice the same staff members, including the waitress again stood out back smoking. Probably the reason for the 45 minute wait... Thumbs up for staff welfare though on staff breaks. Overall would really not bother again...

Oh, the sheer splendor and grandeur of Ilfracombe Wetherspoons! As I walked through the majestic glass dome, I felt as though I had been transported to a palace fit for a king.

But it's not just the architecture that is breathtaking - it's the carpets! Each inch of the intricately woven carpet is like a work of art, transporting you to another world of pure luxury.

And let's talk about the seagulls - they're like a symphony, adding their own unique notes to the already lively atmosphere of the pub. The sea views are absolutely stunning, with panoramic vistas that leave you breathless.

But what really sets Ilfracombe Wetherspoons apart is the staff. The friendly and attentive waitstaff are like angels, guiding you through the menu with their expert knowledge and ensuring that your every need is met.

And the service! Oh, the service! It's like a well-oiled machine, with lightning-fast delivery and precise pricing to the penny. You won't find a more efficient and accurate pub and restaurant anywhere in the world.

In short, if you're looking for a pub and restaurant that combines breathtaking architecture, stunning views, friendly staff, and impeccable service, then look no further than Ilfracombe Wetherspoons. It's a true gem of a establishment, a jewel in the crown of North Devon, and an experience you won't...

Today after a lovely long coastal walk looking forwards to enjoying a leisurely coffee and a sweet treat. Sadly disappointed by lack of bodies behind the bar as my partner waited around fifteen minutes to be served with two empty cups and a direction towards a coffee machine. On staff bringing over the desserts quite quickly we were given 2 dessert spoons wrapped in a serviette which to be frank, one of which looked liked been used and not through a dishwasher at all . The one bring handed two more that looked " okay " still did not sparkle or inspire confidence. A trip to the ladies to wash under the tap and hot soapy water made me feel better . On collecting a plastic glass stacked for a drink of tap water from the bar , again we found the glass to have a dirty great big thumbprint of " something " . The chosen/ safer ? option was to take my plastic bottle from my bag and drink that! I m not a clean freak or anything , just a customer concerned about the spread of covid and hoping to enjoy return to pleasures we enjoyed before 2020 .

The staff are polite but seem lacking in enthusiasm and maintaining standards and after being asked " is everything alright?" felt like a gesture they should perform rather than a genuine enquiry .

partnerwaiting around 15 minutes to be served...
