We went here on Saturday for an evening meal and a birthday treat. We were not disappointed, each one of our party of 4 enjoyed our meals. Starters were just the right size and delicious, we all chose something different & everyone enjoyed it. Our main meals were also delicious, 2 of us enjoyed the rump steak with a pepper sauce & we were certainly full after! We also had a fish dish and a chicken dish. Everyone loved their meals and there were no complaints at all. (Compliments to the chef. 5⭐!).

Our meal averaged £35 each for a starter, main each plus some shared sides. We got our drinks separately. My photography doesn't do the food justice!

Staff were all friendly & it's now been done up to a be a lovely atmospheric pub. We live locally & will definitely be back, when we get a rare babysitter that is! 😉...

This is a delightful pub off the main drag of Braunton that serves great Indian food. We visited on a busy Thursday evening. Service was a bit slow but that was probably because the kitchen may have been overwhelmed. The waiting staff and owner were all very attentive and friendly. The starters were great and very generous so make sure you leave room for the main course. The main courses are served in a novel way with the curry served on the dinner plate you'll eat from instead of from a serving bowl. This is a shame as it discourages people to share and taste each others food. Apart from that I would recommend this place if you want a reasonably priced and tasty curry when you are...

Stumbled across this place, which was down the road from our holiday accommodation. Popped in for a drink initially, then found out they did a £10, curry and a pint night, so went back for that. Glad we did as it was excellent. Lovely, helpful and attentive staff and the food was excellent. A little bit of a wait, but given we were a party of 8 who all ordered something different off the extensive menu, we didn't mind and it was worth it. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals and gave a round of applause the the Chef when he had finished in the kitchen. We would definately recommend and would certainly go back, if we we visited...

Just had a brilliant night at the Quiz that is held there every Wednesday night. We went early and had a lovely meal beforehand. Also the manager Neil who we found out was from our neck of the woods in Birmingham made the night great. His friendly nature combined with the regulars who were in there really made us welcome, even when we actually won the quiz. All in all it was a really good night. Will definitely go there again. Thanks Neil & Janet.

We've eaten in the pub before and really enjoyed it so we thought we'd try the newly opened restaurant, Driftwood, at the back of the pub. We weren't disappointed. The restaurant is cosy, welcoming and decorated beautifully with a coastal theme. Our food was fabulous and the service excellent. We both had 3 courses which were absolutely lovely. So much flavour and beautifully presented. This is definitely our new favourite place to eat locally.
