The Cork & Bottle — Restaurant in North Devon

This is a quiet place at the very end of the high street. I've never seen it too busy, but it's a comfortable and cosy place. The staff are friendly and helpful. Other customers appear to be friendly and welcoming. The thing that I like most about this place is the 2 pool tables. So far they are the best for a game in barnstaple town centre. They also have league games here. Alcohol prices are very reasonable too compared to other pubs and bars that I have visited...

Went in for lunch I was hungry so I had a Honey Glazed Mustard sandwich it was freaking huge,

Dreadful!! Nipped in for a quick pint whilst on our holidays at around lunchtime. The pub was still dirty from the night before. Lack of pump ales so had to opt for the bottle, on reflection, it was the safer option. Garden very untidy and full of weeds!
