Sinple Treats — Restaurant in North Kesteven

Me and my partner have collected/ordered (on Just Eat) from Sinple quite a few times, and normally the food and service is great, but not this time unfortunately. Delivery took 1 hour 30 minutes (instead of the 45 minutes we were told), and after calling the restaurant we were told it would be another 5 minutes but it actually took another 15. We normally wouldn't mind as things happen, but we really needed to leave as we had plans, and this delayed us. As I said, this normally wouldn't be an issue, but we felt the time we waited was a bit too much compared to the delivery time we were told. The waffle arrived with a lot of topping stuck to the top of the box. The malteser cheesecake was as amazing as ever (and a really great price)!

The thing I am really disappointed about is that this time, I ordered directly through the restaurant by calling them. I did this instead of ordering through just eat so that the restaurant would hopefully receive all the profit, even though this is a bit more inconvenient for me. When the order arrived, there was a note to say that if I order direct through the restaurants website, I would receive a 10% discount. This seemed a bit unfair to me as I did order direct, so why did I not get the discount just because it was over the phone? Why did the person on the phone not let me know about the offer online?

Overall quite a bad experience from what is normally a great desert place. Still left a 4 star review as I don't think we have reviewed when the food has been good. So we didn't want to be unfair and bring down Sinples rating after 1 bad experience, but we are really disappointed regarding...

When driving back home through Lincoln, my husband saw a video advertisement for Sinple Treats. Immediately he asked me to Google search them and find out what it was about. After checking them out online, we took a detour and went on the search for the shop. Hidden away on the outskirts of Lincoln we found Sinple Treats. When entering the shop I was met with two lovely guys who couldn't be more helpful. We ordered 4 of the Brownies. These were probanly the best Brownies we've have in a long time, if not all time! Unlike other local desert parlours, with Sinple Treats we weren't left feeling lethargic and overly full afterwards. Although loaded with treats and toppings, they were light and moreish. Pricewise, we couldn't believe we could get 4 Brownies and ice cream for £10. Such good value unlike other local chains. The whole experience was really positive and we will absolutely return in future. We only wish sleepy Sleaford had its very own...

Order was half ready so they said they'd give me what was ready and bring the rest to the car, great!

Everything looked great! I had a Billionaire Milkshake and a Ferrero Rocher Filled Cookie. Both fantastic, the cookie was just right. My Wife had the sinful brownie milkshake and kinder cookie dough, I'm told delicious. We don't share these things! 😁
