Baker in the Bay — Restaurant in North Tyneside

Found this little beauty a few weeks back & we hate having to slum it & go back to bland, ultra processed crap now! The crust on the house sourdough is nothing but exceptional! My other half is intolerant to wheat & this place does the best Rye around. Besides the quality of the produce this place does have it's own charm. Such a warm & friendly vibe from the staff in there & Owen is an absolute delight. Long live small businesses like this, such a valuable asset to our little community...

Lovely experience! Came to the area for a dog friendly cafe that was unfortunately closed. So we went for a walk around, and came across the lovely dog friendly sign! We just had to go in. And wow it didn’t disappoint. Lots of lovely treats on offer, all being made fresh which you can see them doing. I had a croissant which was absolutely beautiful and Callie shared a bit with me. Absolutely will be back, thank you!...

Ordered a personalised birthday cake for my wife’s 50th birthday and it was fantastic. Definitely the best cake we’ve had and miles better than anything store bought. Service was great and even allowed me to pick it up outside normal opening hours which was much appreciated and going the extra mile with customer service. Would highly recommend to everyone and lovely to support a local business....
