Kismet Indian Kitchen — Restaurant in North Tyneside

Thank you Kismet for a beautiful meal. I am a nurse and was truly touched and very grateful for the free meal that I was given tonight. It was a super tasty curry.

I would highly recommend Kismet Tandoori Restaurant as an establishment with great food and top quality humans who work there and run it. When this virus is passed I will be round to have a meal and a big party with you.

Ordered on line with their app. Between that and the restaurant our meal was mixed-up, had missing items and things that we hadn't even ordered.

Called direct and advised them that the app and email confirmed what we had infact ordered. Only to be told that that's not what they had recieved. No offer to rectify it what so ever. Just told to email the app provider.

Until very recently this place was one of those old-fashioned tiled exterior Indian places: given the shiny, colourful neighbouring restaurants it looked a bit shabby in comparison.

Not so any more: it's been done out very thoroughly and the small dining room is all red LEDs and elaborate mirrors adorning the walls.

Staff friendly, cold beer, good poppadoms etc. Food was good but maybe...
