Mangal by lezzet — Restaurant in North Tyneside

Ordered via Uber Eats. 40% of the order turned up. Rang the restaurant and was initially told they had sent it out, and we can send it out again. When I was upset by that and questioned if they are suggesting Uber had stolen it - he then told me he wouldn’t make it again and fulfill the order and to simply go to Uber for a refund. So now I have to fight them and try to prove they didn’t provide what I paid for. Whomever I spoke to said “uber drivers just steal all of the time”. When I questioned why they use them then as it makes no sense to me he said “we have to and it’s none of your business”. Then refused to fulfil my order that I’d paid for. As someone who uses Lezzet Turkish regularly (lovely restaurant) I will never go back. Whoever was on the phone shouldn’t be talking...

I've ordered quite a few times from here and my review is long due:

Pros: -Burgers: Arguably the best burgers (halal) in Northeast (from my experience living in Manchester, it's one of the best compared to there as well). The reason for it is that the patties are grilled, which gives a charcoal taste to the patties. The seasoning is also quite good.

-Fries and loaded Fries: It's very high quality. You should try it to understand what I'm saying.

-Donner: They use high quality meat. It's not like the Donner you have at a regular takeaway. It's not too oily.

The sauces: top notch ✅

Cons: Pizza: Unfortunately their pizza is not the best. The base sauce is not good, the chicken foul taste could be tasted. However the pizza dough bread...

Absolutely amazing food! Mangal by Lezzet has quickly become one of my favourite spots in Newcastle. The quality of the food is top-notch and everything tastes fresh, well-seasoned, and made with care. The Hot Shot Burger is a standout. I also tried the Turkish Donner Burger and it was so tasty and satisfying. One thing that really sets them apart is their dip sauces. The OG sauce is seriously next-level and just addictive. It ties the whole meal together and I always make sure to get extra tubs. All the dips are great, but the OG is a must. On top of the great food, the staff are always warm, friendly and welcoming. You can tell they care about what they do and it shows in both the service...
