La Spezia Pizzeria — Restaurant in North West Leicestershire

It's not often i visit Ashby but when I do I always walk past this little gem and tonight I was craving pizza and decided to give it a go and boy am I glad I did. I'm the person who puts a silly amount of toppings on but this time I stuck to the basics. Chicken, Mushroom and Cheese. Golly gosh, talk about melt in your mouth flavour. The 10" size was well and truly enough to fill me, even so that I have leftovers for tomorrow. (woo hoo!) Looking forward to trying a few more pizzas from the menu. I ordered pepperoni pizza and it came with mushrooms and peppers and onions. I did not realise this when I ordered it as I didn’t look at the menu properly. If you click on deals it does not display the ingredients of the pizzas so make sure you look at the pizza ingredients first.

The owner is so lovely and made me two new pizzas without the extras. Amazing service and we are so happy with the quality of the pizzas and service. We will be back!

Sadly i have to write another complaint. Yet again I feel totally let down. The food arrived and yet again the wedges were completely raw (ever head of a probe?) ordered and paid for garlic mayo which never came. I work in a busy kitchen myself and know the pressures but surely I would think you’d be careful to not send out raw food on multiple occasions. Such a shame as we will no longer be ordering...
