Fantastic little pub close to the centre of Ashby. Cottage style building with a nice comfortable atmosphere, and welcoming hosts. This is a drinking pub with regular live music based around pop and rock mostly, which is well frequented by the locals. Can be a bit busy on Fridays and Saturdays, but this just adds to the atmosphere. Arrived at 9.30pm on a Sunday evening to be told that they were closing and “ had to be clear by10.00pm”. I was not even offered a quick pint to drink up fast.
