Such an amazing experience! Went for a birthday afternoon tea and we were blown away with what we received. The lovely ladies presented some amazing food and catered to our dietary needs as well. The food was delicious and had something we could all eat. Lovely variety of sandwiches, cheeses, crackers, cakes and scones, and loads of fresh strawberries! The cheese board was brilliant and added a nice savoury to the sweet! The strawberry and lemon afternoon tea had some delightful surprises in and the traditional afternoon teas had some amazing cakes and scones, and the sandwiches were very tasty! The decor matched the feel and the crockery even brought back some memories for some of the senior members of our group! Thank you so much for making it a wonderful experience for us all, our toddler had a lot of fun in the play area too! Would definitely recommend and would definitely come again!

Nice little café just off the main boulevard. Good value food and when you go for a large coffee, it's in a cup large enough to swim in. Much appreciated! It was a busy Saturday lunchtime when we visited, so there was a delay on the food (they genuinely were flat-out), but we were told that up front, which is great and we weren't under any kind of time pressure. The food was good when came and we had a very decent lunch. Next level: the only thing I might ask for is a little bit of heating in the toilets. The main body of the café was nice and warm, but the gents was ... chilly. I appreciate it's not an easy trick to heat a small room which isn't occupied all that much and has running water, but it would just add that extra something to the experience...

What a lovely little cafe. Delicious food and drink and wonderful service. This was my first visit and I was very impressed. I had a Mocktail which was very refreshing and at £4 was priced just right, not too expensive but the higher end of reasonable. It was delicious and I would go back just for that! My toastie was lovely and freshly made. Everyone who worked there was very friendly and I cannot fault the service. Their tip was well deserved.

Very poor compared with most of the other cafes in Ashby. Not enticing and not somewhere to go more than once. The menu has a page at the front telling customers that electricity has gone up 34% and coffee 20%. I don't care just give us the costs of the items on offer. The toilets have a notice describing the stuff the plumber has pulled from the toilets last time they were blocked and warns customers that they may be held liable if the toilets get blocked again. Staff working in the kitchen had loose long hair and the tea towel in use was grubby. The coffee menu appeared to use filter coffee in its offerings not espresso so we didn't actually get...
