Food is always cold, always, even when 'freshly made', and I only live 3 mins away (cheese in burgers is never melted or melting it's that cold!) Attitude of staff could be better, literally had meals ordered threw about today as each item was literally thrown in the bag. Everything was thrown, burgers, chips, salt, sauce, the lot. Actually he didn't throw the drinks! Server attitude was that he was doing me a favour, and if under pressure, or a rude customer, I would get it, but the shop wasn't busy! Just two other customers with small orders who came in after me. He came across as arrogant, was v short, verging on rude, actually rolled eyes when he had to leave his v intersting admin task to serve me, I simply walked in and ordered, no other conversation and I said my Ps and Qs! And when altering a burger (literally just no lettuce), he made me feel like how dare I! He was quite rude to his colleague too, who was clearly learning and asked a simple question. Manager was on site, front of house, then cooking, which is why the attitude surprised me.
I always find it strange too that this store appears to operate differently than all the other chains... Just watch how they work, it's odd. Obviously a tried, tested and suitable work method in all other stores, but this store doesn't adopt that way of working, for some reason! No capri suns, was told coca cola have none left, no sprite and no ice cream told each dispenser was broken, no onions for burgers they had ran out at 3 o clock in the day, cant use burger king app to collect order or scan to gain points at this store apparently they havent had upgraded technology required as yet and their scanners are broke anyways even if they had, I asked to speak to manager in regards to the shocking service he heard everything, came over and he said thats just the way it is theres nothing they can do, the manager actually started to laugh at this point in front of me and i dont blame him.
Staff were nice enough to me but they just looked totally deflated and fed up with the place, probably answering these type of questions constantly.
I would of walked out at this point but my wee lad really likes burger king every now and again, and its the closest one to our house.

Read moreWent to grab a quick bit of lunch today at Burger King in Northcott with my mum. When we went in, most of the tables were dirty - which should have been our first indication to leave. We then ordered 2 meals, and despite being the only ones ordering at the time, the food took quite a long time to appear - approx 15 minutes. When we finally got our food, I quickly noticed that the bread of my meal was mouldy. My mum then checked hers, which was also mouldy. At nearly 7 months pregnant, this could have been very bad for my baby. The only saving grace was that the staff were willing to either refund me or give me a new meal straight away - but I wasn't risking another meal, as I was now doubtful of the kitchen's hygiene. I received my refund, but it has put me off returning here, and frankly off Burger King in general if this is their standard of food quality. I didn't really want to post a review, because I didn't want to put down the staff, but honestly as a safety hazard I needed to. If you eat at this establishment, make sure to clean down your table before eating, and check over your meal...
