Cinnamon Indian cuisine — Restaurant in Northern Ireland

It was our go to local Indian - food was quite good (at least the dishes we were choosing), it was dow the road from us and I suppose until now, there was no issue with service. However, on this occasion it was completely opposite. As usual, we placed the order online for collection & and immediately we were prompted to choose later collection time. As our kids are not keen on Indian, based on collection time, we planned it in the way that I collected KFC in Ballyhackamore & then dashed to Cinnamon to lift our curry. When I arrived, I was told the food is not ready yet & I should wait 15 minutes. When food finally came our minutes later, I rushed home cause I was worried chicken is getting cold. Surprisingly, however, when I got home, we realised that out Indian was just about warm & had to be heated up in the microwave (not something you want to do considering price of take away from Indian restaurant these days). And, to add to insult, my bhuna was tasteless & blunt (it is my usual choice of curry from this place mainly because all times before it was outstanding - fresh, spicy & delicious). My wife's usual dish (paneer) was nowhere near the usual quality - it was much sweeter than usually, tasted like leftover korma sauce was used to make the dish. The cinnamon was the only Indian I ever ate from because the service, staff an food was always excellent! Unfortunately it has all went down hill badly. The guy on the counter is nothing but rude who stood an argued with me when I asked for no salad in the chicken tikka starter (he said we don’t put no salad in it) when I asked for no salad, I said I’ve always had salad In mine which is why I ask for none every time so please make sure there’s none in mine he replied we don’t put salad in it!! Well guess what when I got home there WAS SALAD IN IT, So I then had to drive back down a. returned it an told him there was salad in it when as he knows I repeatedly asked for none. there was no apology from him if anything he looked at me like I was a nuisance. This guy is rude, argumentative an shouldn’t be working on a counter, arguing with paying customers. Me and my husband had a worse experience today in this place. I will not call this place as a restaurant, I felt this as a teaching institution( only because of one staff, he didn’t said his name. One of the staffs said he is the manager)

I am 8 months pregnant, I was tired and we decided to have a happy relaxed dinner. This is the 1st time that we were into this place. They served food, the food was average. The manager was the one who served food, he came to my husband and started the conversation like, “ how long have you been here “ , “ here we will tell thank you for each and everything “.
