Coffee Cure at the Museum — Restaurant in Northern Ireland

Instead of going for lunch in Bangor High Street I walked up the hill to Coffee Cure as I remembered a simple bagel I had there before had blown me away with the burst of complimentary flavours. I had planned to return to try one of their delicious looking hot meal options. Nothing could have prepared me. Never tasted such a dish in my life. And healthy, low fat, local produce too!! I took my 98 year old mother out for lunch today at Coffee Cure. The food was very good though my mother could not finish her meal as she has a small appetite. The museum was closed, as it was Monday but one of the male staff, he wore a leather belt saying Jesus Rocks, rushed out after us to tell us about the walled garden which was excellent and my mother loved. I think the Coffee Cure got a bad rap when it tried to operate during the Covid time as many experience pre-covid had always been good. I'm glad to confirm that all is good again based on my visit yesterday with a friend. The Sausage Rolls are back up there again, very tasty. As are the scones and Coffee.
