Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Northern Ireland

I went to Costa in Forestside, this afternoon. Stood in a queue of 3 people for about 10min. I finally got to place my order for two oat lattes. The barista (young girl) had juggle with two jugs and I think she really confused herself. I have milk intolerance, yes it won't kill me, but gives me upset stomach and very uncomfortable pain. I was not asked for the reason of ordering a drink with milk alternative. At some point I could see semi skimmed milk, then some oat milk and only two take away cups in front of coffee machine. When drinks were handed to me I asked if they are definitely made with oat milk. The answer was - yes! I can tell you right now it was not oat milk in 100%. My stomach is very sore, very uncomfortable and I will have one hell of sleepless night. So much of taking allergies seriously 🤥

UPDATE! I was encouraged to get in contact privately with someone who's replied to my review, and all suddenly that reply disappeared 🤔 interesting...

Very rude staff. Who told me to ‘listen to what he’s telling me’ when he had not yet informed me they didn’t have what I ordered. I ordered and he assumed something else instead of informing me they didn’t have it, when I repeated my order, is when he told me I needed to listen. So I ordered something else instead, with a dairy free milk. When I received it, it was not dairy free. We were all very astounded that we were treated the way we were, especially when there was 3 of us, completely put us off.

Update; I can confirm this was drumkeen, an email with proof has been sent, as staff should own up to their own mistakes, instead...

The worst service ever, I always have patience for staff in any setting but this is just shocking, staff are slow and do not seem to know what they are doing, lady in front of me had simple order of 3 lattes, one with oat milk and they made the coffees 3 times before they got it right, she was livid, I ordered two lattes and two toasted sandwiches, got the toasties and I tea, explained it was wrong and five minutes later they can back with the tea, had to tell them again it was lattes x2 I had ordered, there was four staff behind the counter, it was actually so bad it was funny, a comedy of errors, come on...
