One of the nicest fish and chip meals I’ve had! Fried haddock cooked to perfection with a huge portion of delicious cooked chips that tasted like the ones we had growing up! Served with a couple of lemon wedges and salt and vinegar it didn’t need anything else …I’m sure it’s cooked in beef dripping and it certainly makes a difference with the taste! Served with a pot of tea and I had to try one of their ice cream sundaes. I opted for the chocolate and honeycomb one which was very good. I like that they only have vanilla ice cream as it’s done very well and they’ve got a huge selection of various options for Sundays so I’m sure it’s the perfect ice cream parlour option for children.! The owner / chef was whistling all the classic Italian ballads … better than the radio! I struggled so eat all my food as the portions were huge but highly recommended!

Fiorentina’s is a staple in Derry, a name known by all the locals. The recognition is deserved as it serves up some great food and service. Walk in and let the music and atmosphere relax you, Fiorentina’s presents a homely familiar atmosphere, with its classical music and Italian décor. Treat yourself to some authentic Italian coffee, some of the best cups I’ve ever had in derry. Known for its tasty fish and chips which will leave you full with its generous portions, you may think it is overpriced at first however. The staff are always warm, friendly and welcoming. You may even hear the chef singing along to the music sometimes. If you plan on visiting Fiorentina’s beware of it odd opening times as it can be difficult to find open sometimes.

Nice old Italian cafe like going back in time Had the best chips I’ve ever had like the ones your mum used to make in the old chip pan Also does great ice cream sundaes massive list to choose from Extra marks for the Italian owner who whistles Italian love songs in the background

Was with a 4 year old in my arms and asked if he could use the bathroom. We were then told that it was for customers only, usually I would understand if it was myself but for a 4 year old to be refused to use the toilet is disgusting. I have bought my chips here many times as have my extended family but no more. For a family run restaurant in Derry you would think the customer service would be better. I spoke with another staff member who said they would never allow my son to use the toilet as it costs 2000pounds a year in water rates. Well you just lost a lot of customers with my family so enjoy the penny you saved on refusing a 4 year...
