I was sceptical at first of the idea of a restaurant with outdoor seating on Dereham Road but I was pleasantly surprised, and I hardly noticed the traffic apart from the odd emergency vehicle. The food was really nice, the service and the atmosphere was great. For starters we had the mixed hot starter. Excellent variety and amount of food. Enough to feed four people easily. For the main we had the Palm Tree Pan Platter. It was kinda like lamb and chicken shish with pepper and onion. Really yummy. I was really impressed with the way they provided a dish of chilly when requested at no extra charge and they were very kind to put our leftovers in a take away box. I felt they should have upgraded the YouTube music to premium as it sounded a little cheap with the advert announcement. The music was nice. It had a bar/club vibe. It might be nice to separate the shisha smoking area from the people eating as the smoke got a bit much after a while. Overall really great place to eat that easily competes with the local Turkish restaurant...

Went here on a Saturday lunchtime on impulse and sat on the covered terrace. We were the only people there. I was unsure at first due to the road noise and also, the loud rap music, complete with expletives which I thought totally inappropriate considering that people walking by with children would hear it. When our waiter appeared we asked if the music could be turned down and without asking, he actually changed it to something more bland as well as lowering the volume which was great. We ordered our food which came quickly and were amazed by the quality and portion size. We had clearly ordered too much, and they bagged up our leftovers for us to take home. The bread served with the starters was absolutely gorgeous and they told us that they travel to London for it. The beers were cold. We could not fault the quality of the food. The staff were friendly. We will return, but will probably avoid going in the evening when it may be crowded, as I suspect that they are aiming for a younger crowd given the...

Food was amazing (Complementary bread, Mixed Shish, Mixed Seafood, Lamb Moussaka and Chicken ala Cream)! Prices and portions were also reasonable. Presentation was lovely. But the experience was overall not that great. Staff weren't friendly or welcoming, barely a smile on their faces except from the new guy who just started. Waited forever to order our food, and it turns out they thought they took our order when they didn't. Not sure how they missed that seeing as it seemed there were very few tables occupied in ratio to the number of working staff. During the meal, we had finished our drinks but even after serving our mains, they didn't bother to take any more drinks orders and didn't ask if our food or drinks were to our liking even though they kept looking over constantly which made us feel uneasy since they didn't smile. Didn't want to leave a tip and whatever tip I gave, I hope went only to the chef and...

Great place, would recommend. The restaurant is very well spaced out, there’s plenty of room between tables. Everything is very clean and decorated to a very high standard. You get a huge basket of bread and dips. All the food had very generous portion sizes, really good value for money. The babaganoush was simply amazing! Very rich and complex flavours, a must try. Unfortunately the server seemed unfamiliar with the menu, he described the mixed seafood as fried items but it’s actually cooked in sauce. He also informed us the Chicken Sarma Beyti was grilled chicken thigh pieces in a wrap but what came out was minced chicken. Unfortunately this was not to my taste, the chicken tasted very funky but that’s my personal opinion. Overall the standard of food is good. Friendly service, and great value for money. Would definitely recommend if you’re in the area.
