Cans in today for a breakfast with my partner . The owner who served us was such a lovely man , and couldn’t be more helpful , breakfast and jacket potato was very reasonably priced . The only one thing if I was very picky would be the sausages being cooked a bit more and the beans ( cheaper options which are better ) but other than that absolutely would return all home made bread and cakes . Great fried breakfast for very little money; never tried the bakery produce but it looks good.

Staff are friendly and down to earth - a proper traditional greasy spoon cafe!

If I had one criticism it would be that it often closes late morning - probably why it took me so long to eat here during my 5 year tenure 2 mins walk away!

Can never grumble about my breakfast here. Easily the best in the city and quite happy to modify it for you.... I don't eat hash browns so I have an extra egg etc. The fried bread is to die for and both their toast and fried bread is made from freshly baked loaves.
