Almost as scary as a horror movie. DONT ORDER from this place. My oven broke on Sunday evening, decided to order a takeaway as Sunday roast wasn’t going to happen. This was the nearest takeaway open on a Sunday evening to our home that was open and could deliver. Order placed- delivered- incorrect food delivered- call to ask if correct food could be delivered. Sounds normal so far then the nightmare begins. Takeaway confronts us over the order after agreeing the correct food would be delivered in a short period of time. Food awful but that’s what you get on a Sunday from a takeaway. The following day and night, I received over 12 calls to question me about the delivery man as he didn’t return a “ ticket to the shop “ these calls still continued at 12.15am when I blocked the number so I could sleep. The following evening just after 8pm I had a knock at my door and a man was standing there from the kebab shop asking why I wasn’t answering his calls. Feeling very uncomfortable, I asked him to leave my home which he didn’t. Then demanded to know what his delivery person looked like? I requested he left . He went on to mention a ticket again? Feeling highly vulnerable in my own home I requested he left again , he advised if I just answered his calls or text him he would leave me alone. So we ordered few things, but I'll start with the chips well good job with melting the cheese , but would help if the chips weren't like rocks was like they had been reheated, we all know what they taste like ! Then move over the lamb and chiken combo , I was expecting a Decent size but honestly I was shocked to see how little meat was In their! I know places have to save money but that was just robbery! Then chiken was overcooked aswell it looked like it hadnt even if you've ordered chiken shish you expect chunks of chiken not cut up small pieces of chiken to make it look alot especially when it was all dry and overdone , the lamb shish was not bad just small potions, the chiken burger was foul , a chiken rustlers burger would be better value and nicer . And then when you think it couldn't get worse , the one safe thing you can always bet won't let you down is garlic bread and cheese but sure did it disappoint , the crust was soild the dough was tough and the bottom was like grease ie cardboard , and one more last thing I understand every body needs to make phone call but coming to door and handing the food over when you just speaking on the phone and not even confirming or saying hello is disrespectful! We have been ordering from Caesars for about 4 years now. Up until recently it was great, couldn't fault it. Our past 3/4 orders have all been late. I have had to call the restaurant who say the food is on its way, but it's turns up 30-45 minutes late. One time it was over an hour late with no explanation. The chips have always been over cooked, we end up not eating most of them because they're so overcooked they're hard and hollow. The pizzas are normally really good, but again and especially this time they were cold and dry. Hardly any sauce was on either pizza and they were cut really unevenly. Unfortunately we won't be ordering from Caesars anymore because of the past 3/4 times we have ordered.
