The Reindeer is a large music pub in Norwich, and the landlady, Lou, is one of the best in the business. She and her staff are always very welcoming and the customer service you receive from them all is excellent. I've never seen a pub with some many choices of beers, lagers and spirits. There is a good choice of non alcoholic beverages and soft drinks too, so something for everyone. The Sunday Roasts are superb. I personally would not go anywhere else. Lou has a great ear for music and understands her customer base so therefore the pub is always packed when bands are playing. Plenty of room to dance your socks off, to the great bands that she books. Honestly, there is never a dull night. The management need to seriously rethink the way they're running this place on a Sunday.
Staff are getting stuck on the bar and are unable to attend the tables properly. They are all really polite and professional.
They need at least twice the number of people working. If they're struggling to hire, they should post it on Indeed or Reed. They could follow those roles in days.

The staff just didn't gel together to provide a good service, it's a long bar and they should have spaced themselves out to provide full bar service but they seemed more interested in talking in a huddle and smoking, drinking themselves or being in deep conversation with regulars. I did like the pub and got served promptly when I entered but further pints were a battle and after 15min wait I gave up as did a different gentleman further down the bar near the stage. Staff training and allocation of designated bank of taps per employee might just improve the service in an otherwise...
