German Doner Kebab (GDK) — Restaurant in Norwich

placed an order on uber eats today for: boss box og kebab mixed doner box with fries chilli cheese bites

the order came, and all i recieved was the mixed doner box with fries, that wasn’t mixed it was just beef and was full with salad when i asked for none.

they completely forgot everything else, the store not the driver. i called the restaurant and the worker who picked up was rude, and careless, said they can’t do anything and hung up. i then drove to the store, got the order remade after continuous back and forth, and even after then, they still made the order wrong, gave the wrong drinks and forgot the cheese bites. even after going into the store myself.

before i left, i checked most things i could. the food was cold, the chips were old, or tasted like they had been sitting out for a while, the doner was still not mixed in both the doner meals i ordered and there was a shit ton of salad when i continuously asked for none.

i don’t understand how hard it is to make an order correctly, own up to your mistakes and apologise. it’s a shame because gdk as a brand in a nutshell is good, but this particular store, is rubbish, including the staff who work there.

i do not recommend this place, id give it 0 stars if i could, and its sad because theyre newly opened but already rubbish.

Thought we’d give this place a try today but wish we hadn’t. Pros to start with: place was clean and staff very helpful. Cons: food was almost cold (how hard is it to serve hot fries?), cheesy fries were dribbled with squirty cheese not real cheese which was cold so that didn’t help. Chicken kebab consisted of poor quality (cold) chicken and loads of salad. Outside of bread was warmish for a minute or two. Didn’t finish mine as unimpressed and messy to eat. Really nothing special. To make matters worse the air con was set to sub-zero and when you consider everyone in shirts and t-shirts, that’s a bit much. The music was horrendous! I don’t think anyone over 20 wants to listen to ‘gangsta rap’ at high volume. Couldn’t hear ourselves talk and, after a short time, it drove us out of the shop. First and last...
