Nando's Norwich - Riverside — Restaurant in Norwich

Walk in as a group of 6. Aprox 4pm. No table available, not allowed to prebook. Had to wait 30 mins while snaller groups went ahead. Welcome girl on the door taking walk ins looked like she was getting ready to leave, had a puffa coat on and training shoes the whole time. She was pleasant enough (not overly forthcoming or confident tho). She looked scruffy to me and not a good first impression of the company. While waiting for a table Couldn't order drinks to be added to a bill.

When finally seated had to order via an app from the table. So had to decide all food in one go! Then after that which was stressful doing everyone's order we couldn't pay via the app with our meal gift cards! So had to then go over the order again at the till.

Had to get your own cutlery, sauces, napkins!

What a joke. Going out should be a pleasant experience of being waited on and having a personal touch. Found it quite stressful and all we wanted was to relax and enjoy the company of friends while being served a delicious meal.

Won't be back. This is not eatimg out in style its eatimg out vile (tho the food was tasty) The staff were plesant enough but they don't really do much as its more do it yourself.

Couldn't leave a tip unless it was for our own hard work lol!

I think the whole experience needs to be looked at , can i suggest a choice of service, while i appreciate some people are happy to do all the work i certain wasn't

Utterly disgusted with the service at nandos this evening. I am a frequent customer and never had any service like it.

At first i ordered my delivery to my home address. Said it was in had been accepted and to be with me around 20:00.(i ordered at 18:58pm).

I then recived a message from nandos explained my delievery had been cancelled at 19:51pm . This was an hour time waiting for the food and it had been cancelled 10 minutes before the food was supposed to be delievered and no explanation of cancellation.

I then had to drive to my local nandos and make an order at the desk. As no delievery options or click and collect was available.

I then remade my order at my loacal nandos which i was told it would be a 20 minute wait. Then be asked by multiple staff members if i was waiting and i explained i was . It wasnt until a member of staffed asked for my order and asked for proof of my order. But NO order receipt or number was given to me. Then they told me the order wasnt placed and i then explained it was and they finally got my order up and said i explained the order was wrong on the system and then had to be reput into the system and wait even longer.

In total i had to wait 2 hour 45 minutes from my 1st order to my 3rd.

This is very unlike nandos and am throughly disappointed in such a good food restaurant to provide such an awful service to a very loyal customer.

Please reconsider before ordering...

When you arrive at this restaurant almost 90% of the time you are asked for you name and phone number and they will phone you in half an hour when they have a table for you I think maybe they do have availability but don't like to fill up the inside and outside So like usual we go and sit down in the whetherspoons and wait for the table

You are made to order everything through your phone unless you have no idea what you're doing they will take your orders at the counter if you wait there long enough

The food took ages to arrive almost 45 minutes which was ridiculous as it wasn't too busy when we were seated We did sit outside and it was getting late and darker and colder by the minute I asked the server for mayo and they brought 2 pots over After I used it I asked a lady for some more and she must have forgotten

I then had to get up and go inside to queue up and ask for some more The young staff members seem more interested in having a chat than doing a good job It doesn't take two young girls to clear one small table. The food when it did arrive was hot and...
