I am so so so pleased we ended up eating here, I gave my mum free reign to pick a place for us to eat tonight of which she chose this little gem! First of all the staff give off such a lovely, friendly, welcoming aura which instantly makes you sink into that happy comfort zone ready to eat, then the food.. Wowzers! It really suprised me in the best way! Everything is so fresh and tasty, I ordered the ham and cheese waffle along with a side order of the garlic field mushrooms and my mum decided on the oriental stir fry waffle, both of us went into deep silence while floating in dreamland with all the flavours! We also had the ginger sticky toffee pudding which was insanely good, then to top it of, I took a big risk (for me) in ordering a coffee, I am so picky with coffee and find most places just burn it so I gave up getting coffee out, but tonight I just really fancied it and wow I was over the moon! So smooth and actually hot too! If you're considering dipping your toe in the water, I say just jump straight in honestly! We will be back for more!

We’ve been going to the Waffle House for the past 20 years, and we’re drawn in by the smell of the waffles coming out of the vent of the building! (Honest!) It’s been around since the late 70’s, and there is a very good reason. It’s superb. The staff, the food, the vibe, the coffee, etc. It really is a place to visit at least once. The menu is now seasonal and has both veggie and vegan options in both sweet and savoury options. There is a wide range of drinks, and the coffee is really good too. We visited on a Friday lunchtime and were seated very swiftly by the window, meaning we can do some good people watching whilst our food is prepared. The staff are really friendly, smiley and know the menu and ingredients. If you want a recommendation or have a question, they’ll be able to help. Food is fresh, seasonal and tasty. I’d recommend the Belgian chocolate and honeycomb. It’s proper naughty!!!

My waffle deli platter was fine. Nothing exceptional, nothing wrong with it. Response from the owner 2 weeks ago Oh Rachel, how disappointing to be so mediocre! What can we do to up the game? Response to owner: Really appreciate you asking for more feedback - firstly the slice of parma ham was extremely thin and was smoothered by the foods put on top of it so couldn't taste it - needs to be a bit thicker sliced and rolled and put at the side (and maybe more than 1 piece). The hummus just tasted like the stuff you get in a supermarket - nothing special about it - so I'd taste test other versions to have a bit more about it. The cheese again didn't have anything special about it - I'd replace the grated with a chunk and make sure it's flavoursome (something like a cheddar cruncher) and the mozzarella either needs to be buffalo mozzarella or swapped for something else with a bit of character and serving it with a bit of bazil would be good as you could then eat it along with some of the sundried tomato, I'd also add a bit of antipasti that isn't so run of the mill - such as aritchoke or aubergine or the sweet red peppers filled with cream cheese! Hope that helps

Love the waffle House been twice now in as many months, after not going for many years and wondered why I haven't been going. Had a lovely meal out this evening with my amazing friend. Who wouldn't let me pay my way (grrrr) but it was my birthday (they even sung haply birthday to me. Amazing meal I had the days special curry and my friend had the mushrooms with cheese sauce for mains both were amazing. Then for dessert I had dark chocolate moose with honeycomb and vanilla ice cream my friend had picans in butterscotch sauce. Had an amazing meal, Will be going back again soon. The service was great had two different members of staff and both were great. Unfortunately can't let anyone know prices but will take a pic of the menu next time I'm in.

I visited the Waffle House Norwich with my family on a Sunday afternoon and we had a wonderful time. The restaurant is cozy and charming, with a friendly and attentive staff. The menu offers a variety of waffles, both sweet and savory, with vegetarian and gluten-free options. We ordered the cheese and mushroom waffle, the bacon and banana waffle, and the chocolate and cream waffle. They were all delicious, fresh, and filling. The portions were generous and the prices were reasonable. We also enjoyed the coffee, which was vegan and smooth. The Waffle House Norwich is a great place to enjoy a tasty and satisfying meal with your loved ones. I highly recommend it and I will definitely come back again.

My first visit to the Waffle House. A charming restaurant over 2 floors which is significantly larger inside that you would expect from the outside. The menu mainly consists of savoury and sweet waffles, perfectly cooked with some delicious recipes. We ordered savoury dishes of Bang bang chicken, crispy duck salad, and sausages in BBQ sauce. They were served and presented to a high quality. Service was friendly, helpful, polite and efficient. The atmosphere was welcoming with some unobtrusive background music and the sound of happy customers. The restaurant was very busy at 1230, being nearly at capacity. Overall a very good experience, will be going again (soon I hope).
