Had a beautiful meal here yesterday evening before going to the Theatre. I had the Lasagna, my mum had the Cannelloni and her friend had a Penne pasta dish. We shared garlic bread with cheese as a starter. This was probably the best homemade Italian meal I have ever had. Absolutely beautiful. Atmosphere was lovely, quiet but vibrant. We enjoyed a bottle of house white with our meal, which was also very nice. The only downside is that I live in Yorkshire and was only in Norfolk visiting family for the week. Read moreStopped in for date night on a freezing december evening. The restaurant was cosy and warm and you're met with the smell of amazing Italian food.
The lady who welcomed us had such a calm nature about her. Her service was amazing and she made sure we had everything we needed. I noticed she was the only server yet did not seem overwhelmed, and managed to serve all the customers efficiently.
We both ordered a carbonara, which was excellent. The icing on the cake was when the server brought us over extra parmesan to sprinkle over our dish. A really nice touch.

The pasta was well cooked and we had cheesey garlic bread as well. The place was nicely busy as there were a few groups enjoying their evening at the same time and we had plenty of time between courses for digestion.
