Sundaes Gelato Norwich — Restaurant in Norwich

Me and my boyfriend went here today for some ice cream and some crêpes unfortunately we were left feeling very disappointed and embarrassed the staff working on shift very very very rude (2 young girls both dark hair) no understanding of customer service whatsoever they are very blunt a very ignorant we wait over 30 minutes for ice cream while everyone else has been served ahead of us we sat and patiently waited didn’t say anything and then we realised that our parking ticket was about to expire in like 10 minutes so we had to say to staff we need to have a food now or else would’ve had to have a takeaway my partner went an moved his car and I continue to Wait for another 15 minutes until the lady rudely handed me the food and said” sorry for the wait” with a face on I would not recommend anybody to go to this place as after waiting all the time they gave me the wrong food they gave me a Bloody waffle when I ordered a crêpe I also got a milkshake which came half full very very very poor customer service we also spoke to the owner of this business and all they could offer was a free ice...

I went here with 5 kids and 2 other adults at around 7pm on Wednesday. The kids all got a variety on ice cream sundaes and really enjoyed them and polished them all off. I went to use the toilet when we arrived and there was no toilet paper or soap available. I told a female member of staff and she said she would deal with it. 15 minutes later another member of my group went to use the toilet and there was still no toilet paper or soap available. There is only one single toilet for all the customers and it wasn't a busy time of day and there were at least 3 staff on. The fact that even when staff were told that there was no toilet paper and soap available that nothing was done straight away, personally makes me question the hygiene standards of this establishment. I don't know if this is also used as the staff toilet but if it is then they don't have access to toilet roll or soap to wash their hands after using the bathroom. This would definitely deter me from going back...

Was disappointed at how it felt when visiting in these covid times although there was a differant entrance and exit there was nothing else put in place ie waiting to be seated,no differant ques for eat in or take out , no table service , had to ask to have table cleaned and only one sanitizer to use which was at the tills also I never saw anyone change there gloves after cleaning tables ect before doing the food I was very hesitant to eat here after seeing all this but my son was visiting and was really looking forward to being here the food was lovely but I felt like this was a bad experience from other places I had been to eat and the cleanliness and rules other places ihad been to which I felt safe in I wont be visiting again due to how I felt in there until covid is cured or stricter cleaning and rules be put in...
