Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Nottingham

Excellent inside experience, great staff, and the food is genuinely good too. The seating is very comfortable and good however sometimes it’s busy and you may be left with the uncomfortable seats which I believe should just be removed.

To begin with the food, the bakery selection is quite delicious in terms of taste and you could say almost perfect in presentation. They also are quick with serving and will ensure you receive it warm. The only issue is that the majority of the time, the good food may be out of stock and they do take a while to restock.

The service, let’s just say it’s a 5 star service indeed. Staff are amazing and always cleaning around the store to ensure you don’t have any problems with dirt; they’re also quick to help and are happy when they do so.

The overall atmosphere inside the restaurant is great, and majority of the seating is very comfortable; also accommodating private areas for those whom would like to study quietly. However I will say that their outside seating isn’t very well kept and could be improved in terms of maintenance.

Overall, this specific branch will scrape a 5 star, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone reading...

Pathetic staff and service!!

Really pathetic staff and service here. Hope Costa is reading this. The people who make the coffee have clearly no liking of their jobs. Had 2 coffees here within 4 hours of shopping. First a lady served me. I had ordered the special Columbian Character Blend paying 25p extra! She took the coffee powder from the same "nornorma" coffee powder jar as she took for my wife's normal coffee latte. So I asked her to confirm and she lied that it is the Columbian Character Blend. But her colleague later confirmed that the canister for Columbian Character Blend was the other one! Fortunately she apologized and changed it.

Later in the evening the guy who made my coffee (normal blend this time!) Just wasted half of the coffee pouring out of the espresso machine. When I pointed it out he just said oh ok and just carried on with the coffee making! I had asked for extra hot milk and the coffee was like warm. The table was not at all clean and we had to wait for the staff to clean it up!

All in all worst Costa experience...

Went to costa last weekend on our way to walk the pooch ,service was amazing the staff was polite ,went again today and it was a totally different case , arriving there at 8-40 and waited the website said open the serving hatch was open and the staff was sat in the seating area with with no response to the phone. We had to ask the local car park attendant what time they were open and by this time the queue was growing. He did ask and we was told 9.00 , we was eventually served and what a mess it was the toasted cheese sandwich looked like it had been threatened with the toaster but not actually put on it , it was slung into a bag And didn’t even resemble a costa toasted sandwich. The girl serving had bad attitude. I understand that we are in lockdown and that things at the present time are a bit tense. I am a key worker and have worked all the way thru lockdown but seriously was very disappointed in the food and quality today I’m just hoping it was...
