Jimbos — Restaurant in Nottingham

Worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. Started University here in September, Jimbos was the closest takeaway. Went there and got on with all the staff well, enjoyed the food and recommended the place to my friends! However one night in February i had a bad night so decided to order a Jimbo's. I first called up to enquire about how much a cheesy garlic bread was, decided between 2 different types and let them know on the phone. i was told it would be ready in 10 minutes. i arrived at the shop 20 minutes later to find the staff hadn't made my food and had not received my order. The owner of Jimbo's then spoke to me saying he thought my order had been a 'joke' due to the language used on the phone (the only colloquial terms used was 'fam'. nothing indecent was said). To which i responded that when a customer places an order on the phone you should follow through with it... he decided that now me arriving 20 minutes later rather than 10 minutes later was a problem. Again i said "even if i was 10 or 20 minutes late, the food should have been ready". He then told all of his staff not to listen to me and made a personal comment about my appearance as he told me to get out of his shop ... Overall was hugely disappointed in the attitudes of the staff, the way the owner spoke to me and decided there was a problem with my phone manner, then quite frankly bullying me out of the job. turned around to find they were all laughing their...

Best takeaway in Nottingham! I find myself coming here so often because its so good and addictive. I always get the chicken burger, lamb donner and chips deal for £7 (proper bargain). They have loads of sauces and vegetable options too and overall its just incredible. The chilli cheese bites are to die for I love them. I've heard good things about their cookie dough and garlic bread too, but I am yet to try them. Omar is a great owner - super friendly, is always cracking up jokes and will make sure your order is perfect every time. I highly recommend this place especially if you live nearby - It is perfect after a night out at the white hart pub literally just down the road. Jimbos is also open until 4am most days, which is a true blessing for those late...

I ordered food from here a few days ago and ive got food poisoning just like another person on here also mentioned. I dont know how you guys are still open. Im really convinced the postive reviews left on here are from family/friends of the owner. I ordered a new zealander burger and a large garlicious pizza. It arrived quickly but food tasted like sea salt and chewy. Ive not called the shop as just eat are looking into my complaint. STAY AWAY!

I have no reason to give a unbiased review, food poisoning is food poisoning guys. Iv been buying twice as much loo roll since that night and also i have my email confirmation from just eat, if you require me to provide proof. Im not the only one whos expirenced food poisoning, before...
