I’m going with Praisy here (past reviewer) this is bad. Now I’ve had great curries in the past, over many years at the same place. Given great reviews. Even then, you could tell different cooks, and felt lucky on the excellent one ….. and there were some great ones.

Recently a bit hit or miss, but on the most recent - pretty awful, and over a few meals we feel that it isn’t worth giving it another go. When you want something as a treat and find very poor food supplied, you think that it is time to move on. The chicken was hard, is it reconstituted? This was bad. Tasteless, and not worth it.

Anyway, after being faithful customers over such a long time, we have decided to move on. Other recent customers who praised this place, must have got a free meal - but even if given free, I wouldn’t have eaten it.

Don’t reply, restaurant owners, to say we don’t recognise you, as my husband goes to collect. We have got meals for years and there have been fluctuations in quality. This, however, is a step too far. So disappointed, but we’ll move on ….. and...

Ordered from here for the first time on Christmas Eve and it was amazing so we ordered again the day before New Year’s Eve. The lamb dishes are lovely because the meat is so soft and has no fat, the chicken dishes are full of flavour and the keema rice is just brilliant. Great value for money and will continue to order. Edit: Visited the restraint for the first time in person with my friends and it was lovely. The staff are very accommodating and will always refill the water jug. The curries no matter which one you pick are very tasty and the naans are great. As a bonus for students they offer a ‘BYOB’ which is great way for students to save...

Had a great meal here for my birthday with my partner, 9th july. Very pleasant, friendly staff, attentive but not intrusive, many thanks Halimah and Amjad ! Food was fresh and very tasty, my lamb was so tender... - gorgeous ! I was even given a small bottle of wine for my birthday when we left - a very nice touch. It's not particularly cheap, but we did order loads (see pics) and we thoroughly enjoyed it - and finished it the next day! Just 1 negative, the draught Cobra wasn't very nice, perhaps we had the 1st couple of the day (or week...) but it didn't spoil our...
