Royal Children — Restaurant in Nottingham

Royal children is a proper old fashioned boozer. Really friendly bar staff. Unfortunately the selection of beers was poor. They had two cask ales on landlord and pedigree, fair enough. I had landlord which was decent enough. It would have been nice to see a couple more casks on. But the keg selection was about 15 years in the past. It's always a shame to only see fosters, carling, kronemberg, cruzcampo mass produced poor quality macro lagers on. It's 2025 and there are so many wonderful options for local amazing lagers like Czech mates or Bayern from Thornbridge, Hawkstone lager or utopian British lager. It would be great to have one or two guest craft beers on keg too. There are again, so many wonderful options and great local micro breweries here in Nottingham to choose from. I wouldn't ever drink a mass producted macro lager or even a beavertown since Heineken bought them out in 2022 for ethical reasons. Been here 3 times ,honestly can say that this pub is full of acceptance. Feeling safe here, they let you be yourself here. Don't matter what gender you are all are welcome. Karaoke 🎤 they do not judge your voice all for everyone. The vibe in here is joy and full of people coming together!
