Swift's Café — Restaurant in Nottingham

Terrible service, I popped in today at 12.20 ordered a risotto, young lad served me said i'll bring it over when its ready. Had to chase it up twice only to find it had been left on the counter and the lad hadn't even wrapped it up or brought it over, only a small sorry from him. The young lad tried to say I shouted but you didn't hear me...what!!!! so I have to go behind the counter to get my own food!!! wont be coming back, risotto was very greasy.. Wasted at least 30 mins of my lunch break...

We love this little cafe. Lovely friendly feel. The owner is lovely. Always has time for you. We’ve tried everything from breakfasts to scotch eggs, cakes and baguettes. A lot of the cakes are homemade and are delicious. We’ve always had lovely friendly service so the other reviews on here has really surprised us. Don’t let them put you off. I have been longing to try this place until today's lunch for a late full English breakfast (lol). The service is lovely and I enjoy the relaxing environment very much - I think this is perhaps the best place to give me the local warm welcoming feeling, too. I am extremely happy with the food which comes with a good portion at a reasonable price. The homemade taste is definitely worth a more frequent visit from me...
