I am extremely disappointed with the service I received at this McDonald's location. The staff, who appeared to be predominantly teenagers, demonstrated a complete lack of professionalism and competence.
My order was incomplete, missing two packs of mozzarella sticks and a Mayo Chicken. When I reported the discrepancy, I was met with immediate disbelief and accusations of dishonesty. The manager claimed that CCTV footage of a sealed bag proved the order was fulfilled. This claim was made within five minutes of my complaint, making it highly improbable that they had thoroughly reviewed the footage.
It is absurd to suggest I would fabricate missing items like mozzarella sticks and a Mayo Chicken. I requested a full refund, which was eventually granted, but the entire experience was incredibly frustrating.
The manager's handling of the situation was unacceptable. He accused me of lying, despite the illogical nature of the accusation. I have dash cam footage that corroborates my account, showing me checking the bag, comparing it to the receipt, and returning to the restaurant.
I strongly advise against going to this location. The staff are rude, and the manager lacks basic logical reasoning and customer service skills. This branch is actively losing customers due to mismanagement.
For McDonald's senior management: Please review the CCTV footage from 21:49 to 22:05. I urge you to reconsider the employment of this manager, as their behavior is detrimental to your brand. They require either immediate dismissal or comprehensive retraining. This individual is actively damaging...
   Read moreI've use the restaurant for many years and frequently, although the service is still good, since the refurbishment and the changes in how you order (number for each order ) the speed you get your order has slowed drastically, I understand the reasons for this system, but when you are just ordering a coffee and you have to Waite a number of minutes for food orders first it's very time consuming, and goes against what mcdonald's are, this was never like that until this new system, before you would be served a lot quicker, its also effect the drive through. on many occasions I'm asked to park for just a drink order. The drive through time so so much longer on this system. The exit to the car park is horrendous with the traffic lights on the island and the road not allowing you to tern right on exiting the car park. I realise this is not the control of McDonald's, but it still makes it very off putting to customers wanting FAST FOOD. This comment is for the benefit of the company and not a moan on the service, I would love to see changes and the speed improved as it was before.
When I go to Australia McDonald's have a separate bar area for drink and cakes with in the restaurant only. called Mc Cafe which is so much better you are in and out for a drink not waiting for...

Hubby came to table with food and the chips were cold, I went up to the till area to be ignored then finally a young lad looked my way and I said excuse me these chips are cold may I have hot chips please, he took the 2 portions of chips and binned them then he replaced them with fresh hot chips which he placed in a brown paper bag. He bought them to me by the tills and not a word not even a apology I took the bag and said thankyou. On eating our food I was looking round and the two girls who were there for wiping down tables etc were just chatting but to be fair it wasnt really busy, I said to my hubby the background music was depressing almost like listening to Beethoven, but whats concerned me more is how it has gone downhill, staff are ignorant and carry on talking to work colleagues instead of offering a customer service. I would not rate Wigston branch at all its not a patch on others and we have experienced cold food before, not anymore as wont be going in again.
