Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Oxford

What a disappointment! Ordered 2 pizzas online on a sunday late afternoon. 40minutes later the pizzas had not arrived so I called up the store and asked about it. The man on the phone was very snappy and rude when I enquired about the pizzas. He said it was with the driver, on its way, and then practically hung up on me. 1 hour later (this is 1hr 40min since ordering), the pizza had not arrived yet, so I called again. The same man said the pizza was on its way. As I was calling him the pizza arrived. Of course it was stone cold! I asked for a refund but he said because I had ordered online I could not get any money back. He said I would need to contact the headquarters for a refund. This is totally unacceptable to wait 1hr50min for 2 pizzas!

Absolutely shocking, steer well clear of Papa Johns Rosehill branch! Thought we would treat our 2 young kids to a family take away of their choice placed an order via their APP after an hour tried calling numerous times unsuccessfully, finally got through to find out how much longer it would be & were told they were very busy & order would be another 40 mins to an hour, not even prepared yet. This wasn’t acceptable as kids were hungry and would be fair to wait for 2hrs so we requested to cancel & get refund told they were unable to cancel the order we would have to do it through the APP. To our Surprise there is nowhere on the APP to cancel a order, tried to call back unable to get through! Feel we’ve just been ripped off, Spent £30 for NO PIZZA, NO REFUND, PAPA JOHNS...

Okay Pizza, horrific delivery. Took 1hr 40ish mins to deliver. After calling the store, the guy said that the 2 pizza delivery left the store 50ish mins after ordering and that it would be here anytime, 45ish mins later it arrived… Although the pizza normally is very good, this time I was was warm at best and the stuffed crust was boarder line slimy… In conclusion, if your collecting, order Papa Johns, if not, order Dominoes. I’ve ordered from them many times and although Dominoes don’t do an XXL, they have always been great with timings and the quality has always been solid.

Follow up: Don’t order this at all. Eaten just short of half the pizza (minus the slimy crust) and I feel like I’ve been through an eating bush tucker trial. Made me a little bit unwell. Avoid...
