Quite disappointed in my experience at the egg. I ordered the big english breakfast on a less than busy Saturday and the food was subpar. Cold hash browns. Very few mushrooms and very overcooked Bacon. Sausage, egg and toast were the takehome highlights with all being quite nice, especially the eggs. The orange juice is starkly overpriced. It is fresh squeezed and tastes good but is not worth the £3.25 when you consider the massive ice cubes to boost the volume, leaving you without much juice at all. The small mushroom portions extended to the normal full English of my other half. 7 small button mushrooms between us if you are curious. My service was bad to be blunt. Ordering was fine. When I got up to ask for tissues for my nose, I was quickly barked at that "[my] breakfast [was] coming". I had to ask the Employee to repeat herself because I couldn't believe my ears. Today I bought an egg baguette to takeaway. Half way through eating it I noticed the egg white was still raw and runny, not cooked. Salmonella can hospitalise people you're going to make someone seriously ill with food poisoning if you don't cook food properly. I don't normally ever write bad reviews, but today this really annoyed me. The Cafe was empty, there was plenty of time to cook the food properly I even went away after placing the order and said I'd come back in ten or fifteen minutes however long you need. If you're looking for place that has poor welcoming, poor communication, mediocre/fluffy food then you've found the right place!

The woman (Blonde possibly late 30s/40s) who served me had terrible communication skills, I tried explaining the reason why my hotspot wasn't working because of the phone signal and she walked away as I was speaking.

Just a heads up if you're thinking of going there's no Wifi but there is a post box outside if you want to send letters.
