Greggs — Restaurant in Plymouth

Absolutely rude customer service by Mina.

My first time in Greg's and never again.

First my friend wasn't asked if he would like his food heated, he felt awkward and just paid. (Also wasn't asked if we were sitting in or taking out.) When I got to the counter I told him to ask, Mina was extremely rude and abrupt wouldn't even look at him said no. I paid for my food never once asked if we were sitting in. She treated us like we were scum on her shoe.(We decided to leave and eat in the car)

No eye contact; no acknowledgement of any compassion or empathy. Real attitude problem.

Food. My friends was okay, but he wanted his baguette hot. His doughnuts were lovely and coffee great, Mina had it put in a take away cup even though we were meant to sit in. (So we took that as a hint she didn't want us there)

My food. Extremely disappointed, I had a bean and cheese bake, was stone cold. Also had a sausage roll which was also completely cold.

Very disappointing. I know people have bad days. But gosh what horrid customer service. I have said her name individually as I don't want Greggs to be held accountable for just one person. I didn't interact with any other staff, so don't want them being held...

After coming here 3-4 times a week, today I was treated like they feed me out of mercy, or something. I swear I’ve paid to get the food! The lady serving here on the 27th of March 2025, around 11:53am showed signs that she didn’t really want to be there, and I was looking around to see if there is someone behind her back holding her there against her will… Throwing food like that on the countertop is not admissible!

I’ll revise on my next visit, but I’ll make sure I’ll not buy anything if this “lady” is going to be there, serving.

Avoid, if you don’t want to destroy your day. By the way, smiling doesn’t work....

Greggs is very predictable. The staff are never helpful in any way. My local greggs is impossible to get any hot food like bakes or sausage rolls because they are pre bakes early and put on a cooling rack. Even if you walk in and watch them put hot sausage rolls or bakes on the cooling racks, they are very reluctant to give you them. I have found you have to argue and stand your ground. I suffer with bowel issues whereby cold food causes me major problems. Yet the city centre shop couldn't be more helpful. Come on, Greggs, you need to always offer hot food and give the...
