10 adults 2 children went for meal. Table booked for 6.30 pm. 1st waitress was lovely. Took drinks orders then meal orders. Music way too loud asked 3 times to turn it down. Quite a long wait for starters. Calamari rubbery not crispy. Cheesy garlic bread, could not taste any garlic back of bread totally burnt and black. Garlic pizza was just garlic on dough no cheese. Whitebait was not whitebait it was sprats which were much bigger. Waited ages for mains, did not all come out together dribs and drabs. Pizzas are massive but burnt again, all the edges and on the bottom, all we could see all night was smoke coming out of the kitchen. Other mains not good spaghetti bolognese was bland and tasteless. When I mentioned to the other waitress that there was a lot of burnt bits she didn't comment or apologise. Best part was the desserts. Expensive £450 with £40 service charge which i think is a cheek to put on. Didn't even give us a complimentary lemon cello shot at the end like other tables. No one came and asked was everything OK. On our way out no thank you for coming or goodbye. Not impressed at all. Also the older man waiter was giving me the creeps he kept going over to one table near us and sitting with the young girls, leaning onto their table, or on his phone, even when their food came out didn't move, it was creepy. So all in all not a good evening for a...

Food and staff were both great. Evening not ruined but definitely made worse by a blonde man in his mid 20s shouting and swearing and acting like he owned the place. He was constantly abusing his friend who remained silent throughout the whole night. This wouldn’t be too much of a bad thing but he seemed to know the staff incredibly well, or at least enough to go behind the bar and pour his own drinks and boss the staff around so I can only believe that he must be a representative of the restaurant in some way. It was impossible to even hear my partner who was sat on the same table as me due to his constant shouting and rage. If it was my restaurant I would ban him for life because he spoiled what was supposed to be a pleasant evening for everyone at the restaurant. He wore a white hooded jumper and had horrible botox and lip injections to the point where he looked like an animated cat. I’m sure if you’re a member of staff reading this then you know exactly who I’m on about....

This place was absolutely brilliant! We turned up on Sunday lunchtime after being turned away from a couple of other places in the pouring rain and they couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful. We were a big party of 9 including young children and newborn twins so not an easy lot to cater for without booking or anything but they did everything they could for us and it was a lovely experience. The ladies waiting the table were attentive and patient and the food all arrived in good time and as ordered. The owner was over at our table often to check on everything and was brilliant with the kids. They even accommodated some more family who turned up towards the end of the meal and put them on a table close to ours. I almost never post reviews unless I’ve had a bad experience but had to post one this time as it was simply brilliant and I’m so grateful for you saving the day!! Thanks again and we will...

I tried to book a table via email but was informed they were fully booked. My husband called the restaurant (didn’t realise I had emailed) and managed to get a table, so it’s probably best calling to reserve. That being said, the restaurant was full all evening and we could see why. The staff were so attentive and had some great personalities, we were laughing a lot. I had the prawn cocktail to start, my husband had the scallops. For main we shared the pepperoni pizza and chicken penne pasta. The portions were generous so we couldn’t finish it all. I would have liked the pasta to be a bit more creamy as I felt it was a little watery but still enjoyable. My FiL said the lobster linguine was brilliant. It was very warm inside the restaurant so we did have to step outside a few times to cool down! The Merlot wine was very good. I would highly recommend Giuseppe’s, a fun evening with great food and wine.

What a lovely place! I took the family out for dinner (7 of us) and we had a great time. Comfortable atmosphere, great food, fantastic service. The wait staff were charming and friendly. They were a bit forgetful (had to order a few things twice), but we didn't mind. It was actually a bit comical. And I couldn't understand the Italian guys too well, but they were absolutely lovely, and it just added to the charm of the place. The calamari had good flavour, but it was a bit tough (this is often the case in restaurants). Other than that, everything was delicious! I wasn't expecting much from the House Red Merlot (house wines usually aren't great), but it was very nice wine. As were the cocktails. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs and it was probably the best spaghetti and meatballs I've ever had. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food and the atmosphere. We will definitely go back.
