McDonald's — Restaurant in Portsmouth

Terrible. Just awful. At the moment (17:02, 22/9/2021) there are people waiting 20 minutes plus, meals are piling up waiting to be bagged, the girl at the front is useless (sorry if she is new but she is seemingly picking receipts off the floor, trying to marry meals to orders then handing drinks and ice creams to customers). One customer came back and asked if the content of his carton was supposed to be a large fries - apparently it wasn't and he got a refill; then there was some problem with the number of chicken nuggets... Another customer complained that their meal was cold on arrival - hardly surprising really - and demanded (and got) their money back. It is now nearly 30 minutes since I placed my order and they seem to be serving numbers about 20 after mine. The lady who placed her order immediately after mine was also waiting, as a man in a white shirt handed over a meal that was 24 after mine! He proceeded to swear, loudly, not only at/to the staff but audible to customers as well. Ok, my order was made up new, arriving 36 minutes after being ordered, but this is supposed to be fast food. I know other McDonalds have different shifts that do things differently (the late/overnight shift at Waterlooville always over salted the fries for example, none of the others did) but this shift (or shifts, since come 17:00 some of the crew cheered at finishing and the staff numbers noticeably dropped) seemed to be totally overwhelmed and led be someone unable to regain the upper hand. Probably the worst McDonald’s around, don’t eat a lot of McDonald’s, but kids love it so go along with it. This was an UBER eats order, got delayed ok fair play appreciate that the restaurant was busy. Receive the order from the nice chap bags felt light, check order the McFlurrys were there 👍 but a completely different order was in the bag🙄, take order to restaurant myself, they offer to cook whole order fresh, ok thank you very much, wait a bit longer in the restaurant a bag handed to me lovely thank you very much, get home yes ok maybe I should have checked the bag before I left, but BEHOLD no fries. This isn’t the first time we have had problems with this McDonald’s but I feel some area managers or head office need to get down there and have a good sort out. uber staff need a seperate collecting area, taking up space in the restaurant talking loudly On phone calls when people are eating, eating in not a nice experience, I feel I’d get a better response from one of the chicken nuggets rather than one of the managers, when I spoke to them the problem was immediately delegated to a young member of the counter staff. Won’t be using this branch again...

Went in there tuesday morning ordered mcmuffin and drink the guy who was making the muffin licked his fingers first then made and wrapped up the mcmuffin i went mad had a go said they didnt know about health and safety and hygiene he apologised i said dont bother you are in a food restaurant went in weds morning to see the manager around 615ish a girl with glasses white shirt came to the counter in no hurry then ignored me to serve she then said what do u want i explained what had happened and no apologiy at all very abrupt really said there is our email for that place make a complaint but ill go to head office place it, it is disgusting they dont wear aprons hair nets or gloves theres staff who have walked in to start work in there coats hanging around the food prep area with god knows what germs on them from outside its disgusting and dirty i would not eat there again they dont give a shit about what or how they serve should be shut down if a staff member done that to every meal they served to kids and families god knows the germs they would get disgusting vile have no clue about food hygiene braking...
