I visited the cafĆ© around 10:36 PM, specifically to try the Peri Peri Dosaāa dish Iād heard great things about from friends. However, my experience was far from what I expected.
When I approached the counter to place my order, the staff member immediately told me the kitchen had closed at 10:35 PM. I explained that I had come just for this dish based on recommendations, and only then did he reluctantly agree to take the order.
While waiting, I noticed a group of around 12 people sitting comfortably, drinking coffee and playing cards, and another couple had just ordered food to dine in moments before me. Despite this, I was told I could not dine in because the dosa ātakes 20 minutes to prepare.ā This excuse made no sense, especially since others were clearly being served and seated.
After about 5ā7 minutes, my dosa was suddenly readyāpacked and handed over for takeaway. The inconsistency in service and lack of clear communication about dining cut-off times was frustrating. If the cafĆ© closes at 11 PM, there should be a clear policy communicated about last dining orders.
The rude and dismissive attitude from the staff on till was really disappointing, and frankly, unacceptable. I came with genuine excitement to try your signature dish, but the customer service left a bad taste.
If someone from management would like to discuss this further, Iād be happy to talk ā feel free to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI visited your restaurant today and ordered a chicken curry combo with parotta. Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience.
First, the chicken curry was extremely oily. When I pointed this out and asked for a replacement, the staff simply removed the oil and gave the same curry back. To make things worse, there was a big hair in the curry. The parotta was also very hard and rubbery ā completely inedible.
When I raised these concerns with the person at the front counter, he told me that I should have eaten the parotta within five minutes, and that it was my fault it became hard. I donāt understand how I was supposed to eat it without the curry, especially when the curry was being replaced due to the oil issue.
When I asked why the curry was so oily, he told me they make it ālike a fryā, which didnāt make much sense. I also mentioned that I had clearly asked for chicken curry with parotta when ordering, but he said the person who took my order was new.
I had come with my child to enjoy a meal, but this turned out to be a horrible experience ā poor food quality, lack of hygiene, and rude customer service.
I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as this is not the standard anyone expects from...
