I recently popped into this restaurant while passing by, and I’m so glad I did. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with the staff going out of their way to make us feel welcome. Their friendliness and attentiveness were top-notch, creating a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience.

The food itself was excellent. We started with falafel and tabbouleh, both served with creamy houmous, garlic-rich toum, and what I believe was shatta sauce. Each bite was bursting with flavor—the falafel was perfectly crisp on the outside and tender on the inside, and the tabbouleh was fresh and vibrant. The combination of these starters, along with the sauces, was simply delightful.

For the mains, we ordered two mixed grills, and I have to say, it was hard to fault anything. The meats were cooked to perfection, with a great balance of tenderness and char. Each skewer offered a unique and delicious flavor, making it clear that quality ingredients and careful preparation were priorities in this kitchen.

In summary, this restaurant is a hidden gem with exceptional food and welcoming service.

Ate here last night (lamb kabob) - exquisite! It was so good that, of the various dining options we'd considered for this eve, we unanimously agreed to come back. Excellent again!! Grilled meat seasoned just right, rice in large portion also with delicious seasoning, & accompanied by a fresh greens salad of lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, parsley & red onion. We (age 70 & age 80) usually order 1 meal to split when eating out. Did that here & the VERY generous portions made that a wise choice. Every morsel was sublime. Although a small restaurant, if you want intimate, that's not here. Busy, bustling, laughing, friendly place to eat. Wait-staff & cook-staff non-stop hustle; wait time for a table & for your food, is amazingly fast. This eve the server who brought our meal, seeing that we were sharing it for 2, asked if we wanted more salad..... & brought us another one! Then asked if we wanted more hummus or some pita bread. We explained we'd only paid for 1 meal, that was too generous of her. Before we knew it, she was back with more hummus & pita!!! EVERY SINGLE STAFF PERSON that we encountered was so friendly and gratious. We leave town tomorrow a.m; if not, we'd be back to Jaffa for another...

From the tantalising Jamaican Jerk Chicken to the mouthwatering Chicken Shawarma wrap, along with the delightful Chicken Fatayer and creamy Hummus, the menu is a treasure trove of flavours. Let's not forget the unforgettable Jerk Chicken Burger and Cajun Blackened Chicken that always leaves me wanting more.

It's not just the food that makes Jaffa's special – the staff play a big role too. Their warm and friendly demeanor adds an extra layer of comfort to the dining experience.

If there's one downside, it's that the place is often packed due to its well-deserved popularity. The small seating capacity can sometimes be a challenge, but the incredible taste makes it all worthwhile.
