Oodles Wok Preston — Restaurant in Preston

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! Awful, awful, awful! I'm not usually one for posting reviews or slandering but here we go. I ordered off Uber eats and it took 2 hours to deliver. Considering the quote of delivery on the app being 15-35 minutes, this is absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. Whenever I tried to called to ask where my order was they seemed to have a new excuse. "we're busy because of the football", "there's too much traffic on the roads", and for good measure they even tried blaming the rain on my order being 2 hours late. Yes, the rain. Even though it had stopped raining for a good hour. Nevertheless when my food did come the driver apologised for the wait and explained that he was stuck in traffic and it had taken him 15-20 minutes to get here, which is crazy because this means that either the driver or the takeaway was lying about the whereabouts or progress on my order as a full hour and 40 minutes is now unaccounted for. 😭 That now brings me on to the quality of the food. Cold, greasy, chicken is like rubber but hard hard rubber. The chips were soggy, and wings were sub par to say the least and had very unpleasant after smell when eating. All of it was basically inedible and have asked uber to process a refund. Do not waste your time with this place as you will be SEVERELY DISAPPOINTED! Avoid at all costs. I would never wish I'll on someone's employment but this place either needs new management or to be shut down completely. Poor customer service, poor organisation and very poor...

I had high hopes for Oodles Preston, but left feeling slightly disappointed, especially given the portion sizes for the price. I tried the regular box with udon noodles, Malaysian chicken, and teriyaki chicken. There wasn't much chicken. The box was more small than regular, in my opinion. Flavours were okay, but the heat was so intense it overpowered the actual taste of the food.

The smoked BBQ chicken wrap had potential, but unfortunately chicken was quite tough. On a brighter note, the spring rolls were tasty, though very small, more of a nibble than a starter.

I was also surprised to be charged extra for a bag simply because I wasn’t dining in. On the plus side, they offer student discounts, which is appreciated.

Overall, it was not a terrible experience, but I expected better value for money and a more balanced...

The food was alright but the udon noodles where alright teriyaki chicken was actually amazing chips where quite steaming hot but hot food is fresh food and always is amazing. Also the white moon mochi was nice and gold after all the spicy food.The food wasn't too spicy tho but it was actually quite good.The one thing I'm giving 3 stars is because there was a water leak and it was leaking Alot that the floor literally was a puddle and I didnt want to get my shoes and socks wet so I had to sit in a very uncomfortable way so it didn't really make me enjoy my food. Also it was really cold in the resturant that the steam that come sout of your mouth when it's cold came out of my mouth.Because it was cold couldn't enjoy it that much because it became cold really quickly.
