I cannot thank you enough for our lunch earlier this week. Less than a week ago our eldest daughter was diagnosed with Coeliac Disease. It's been a huge shock to us all and it's definitely a new way of life. From the second we arrived with you (we mentioned it on the booking) we couldn't have been made to feel more welcome or comfortable! The man that greeted us was lovely. Even the added touch of adding an allergen aware bottle was fully appreciated. Also the flag in the meal itself was great! There was lots and lots of choice for her on both the main menu and the dessert menu! Thank you to each and every one of who made our first official gluten free meal amazing, stress free and relaxed! It was delicious. We really enjoyed it and cannot thank you enough for our experience! Fully enjoyed the new addition of Spinach and Ricotta cannelloni for myself too! I wish you all the best and we are already booked to be back!

This eaterie is nicely situated on a massive retail park along with other establishment food outlets. Lots of parking and access round so should be no problem finding a space. Upon arrival, we were seated very quickly in one of the many booths that are situated around. Lots of great seating areas in a very spacious floor space for what looks from the outside as a smallish building. Served with our drinks and food order taken, with care to ask about allergies, which doesn't always happen in other food outlets. Food arrived hot and was absolutley delicious. Along with the great service and a nice little 'happy birthday' plaque on our table, all added to a great visit while we are visiting the York area. Highly recommend a pop in while on the retail park 👍

Thought we’d try this place again with tesco vouchers after having poor experiences in the past with food taking hours to come to the table ect today we had a very good experience. Can’t remember what our waitress was called she had blonde hair and very talkative and friendly. We were served quickly and drinks and starters came out very fast. I had garlic mushrooms and they were lovely maybe a bit more garlic next time and the pizzas were massive never finished them! All through our meal the waitress asked if we needed any drinks and if everything was ok. Best experience at Bella Italia yet! Hope the lady gets this review.

It's been a long time since I've visited any Bella Italia after having some not great experiences at both this restaurant and another in York. But this visit was spot on. Friendly welcome and helpful staff. Food was great. Opted for the set menu, and the festive pizza (which I have to say was "interesting" with the cranberry sauce and camembert topping, but nice still). Family had the standard Calzone and Bolognese. For a Sunday lunchtime it was quiet, thankfully , which maybe helped with the whole experience. Happy with the visit thank you 👍👍👍👍.

Review 18th Sept. 2024 "Bella Italia" Clifton Moor, York I have reviewed Bella Italia before, but not this one. With such excellent service, it's no problem to add a review. We enjoyed the decor. It's modern with a hint of the industrial and it is pleasantly lit with a modern ambience. As always, the food was excellent and we received friendly and fantastic service. Overall, yet another fabulous visit, and we hope to return next year. I'm so glad we are regulars at Bella Italia. Thank you, Sara, for looking after us.

It can sometimes be hit and miss depending on the waiter or waitress. My husband is coeliac so we order 2 gluten free meals that we can share. Last time, they only provided 1 gluten free and not the other. The zucchini noodles dish was quite disappointing as more pasta than actual zucchini. On another occasion, they went over the top with a lovely board and happy birthday written on it, it made it so special. So give it s go, afterall, we keep on going there so it is pretty nice.
