I’ll start by saying if I could give this a 3.5 stars I would, but I can’t and it’s not a 3 star so 4 it is!

It’s a nice little burger spot with some seating inside nice decor and vibe, the menu is expansive to say the least pretty much Something for anyone here. I ordered a a cheese stack burger as a meal.

Let’s talk about it, 6oz burger patty loaded with halloumi, mozzarella sticks and more cheese. I was expecting some serious cheese pull with cheese dripping everywhere, but there was none of that but that’s ok. The patty itself could have been frozen bought? Certainly not freshly made in house which a lot of burger spots do these days, it lacked any juiciness was a pretty dry patty tbf, there was some seasoning too it and it had that flame grilled taste. Halloumi was cooked nicely, and mozzarella sticks don’t really do much tbh. The bun certainly held it all together but it was pretty chewy and soft again could have been frozen?.

The fries were very basic, some crispy some maybe undercooked, certainly no seasoning on them, came with 2 sauces a mint chillie and garlic mayo both were pretty decent as far as dips go.

Overall I wouldn’t say this place is bad, it’s cheap it hits the spot but wouldn’t say it’s gourmet! But for cheap quick decent burger it will hit the spot! Under £10 for burger chips and drink is pretty good In my book!

I recently ordered a meal through a delivery service, and unfortunately, the overall experience left much to be desired. The service, in particular, was disappointing. The app provided the option to have the food delivered directly to my location—specifically to my hotel room. However, upon arrival, the delivery person called and requested that I come down to the reception, stating that they were unable to bring the order up to my room. This lack of service was inconvenient and contrary to what was promised by the app.

As for the meal itself, the hamburgers were well-prepared. The meat was of high quality and tasted very good, which was a highlight of the order. However, the sides I ordered—fries and wings—were underwhelming. Despite being marketed as gourmet, the wings, in particular, were disappointing and did not meet the expectations set by the description. The quality of these items diminished the overall experience and detracted from the meal's gourmet label.

In summary, while the burgers were enjoyable, the subpar service and mediocre sides reduced the overall satisfaction of the experience. I would hesitate to describe the meal as gourmet given the...

New to the area and been trying to find a local takeaway we can rely on for our once a week takeaway.

Driven past here a few times and decided to give it a try.

There is a lot of choice here with burgers, hotdogs and chicken available. I thought I would try out the burgers as this is what you'd expect is the speciality. Again a decent choice of burgers, I picked out the original burger with a couple of modifications.

Service was very good, order was easy. Didn't have to wait too long for my burger, which I think is an interesting one because it rang some alarm bells. Normally I'd expect the cooking to take a bit longer. Regardless I took the items and went home to try.

The burger wasn't that good unfortunately, it had the dry mealy texture of a frozen patty. The toppings were nicely applied and it had a brioche style bun. But it was all let down by a dry juiceless burger.

I think if you want to call yourself The Original Gourmet Burger Co you really need to be using freshly made burger patties.
