“Hala” is a warm way to say welcome in Arabic, and this is how we felt when we entered the restaurant. The people who work there are so lovely, especially the two adorable girls serving. The food is sooooo delicious, and tastes like a proper Lebanese and Arabic home-made food. The price is reasonable, the amount of food comes with it is enough, and as an extra bonus NHS members and students get a 10% discount (which worked out for us nicely). I’m not sure since when the restaurante has opened, but the lovely decoration looks like new for me. If you don’t have a car, just take the busses number 17 (purple) 🚎 or X4 (gold) 🚌 from Reading city centre towards Wokingham, and it should drop you next to the resturant. Good luck guys, and surely I will come to visit you again and again.

Deliciously catered grilled kebab & rich menu that includes meat, chicken and fish. Donner (both meat & chicken), soft drinks, relatively speedy service and welcoming staff in this store. Dine in is available but limited. Ha restrooms inside too. The food we ordered included meat doner (small was plenty for one person, comes with fries & your choice of greens). Grilled fish was sizable despite the bit higher price (about £10), but was worth it delicious. Most other items less than £6, with good size meat & fish burgers. Pasta was well done, like homemade. Highly recommended halal restaurant for families & singles alike. 🕊

The food was okay, not great but not bad either , portions were good. The atmosphere was good and the restaurant had parking spaces available which is great. The only issue is that they charge a 10% service charge without informing the customer about it. Im still not sure if it was a service charge or the waitress made a mistake because we only noticed that the amount that was charged to the card was higher than what was told to us verbally. We would’ve preferred if we were verbally informed instead of them being sneaky about it. So be careful u will be charged more than the actual bill without being informed of it.

Today we ordered a takeaway of 3 chicken doner kebab from this place and it was the most awful kebab I have ever had in my entire life. The chicken was undercooked and completely stale and smelly and had random skin pieces and bones. We could barely finish half a box of kebab among the 3 of us. My child had to go to bed hungry and I could not eat any of the chicken and borh mine and my husband's tummies are aching and we are having funny feelings. I rang them straight away but the bloke was on complete denial and kept insisting that it was all made freshly. We had an argument and in the end he said theres not much he can do about it other than to replace it only if we bring it back to them as they cant be bothered to send someone to pick it up from our place since it wasn't a delivery order. He was extremely rude and didnt apologise even once. I am going to take this matter with the food hygiene people and will make sure none of my friends ever order from this...

Came here as we saw on Google they had good reviews and thought to try it out. This isn't proper Lebanese food, the chief isn’t even Lebanese. We had fatoush, you shouldn’t put green peppers in fatoush!!!! It also came with no fried bread on top. The lettuce for some reason was dull, it wasn’t fresh. We had the sojouk, which was okay but needed some more flavour. The place isn’t as clean as I would expect, floor and tables are sticky. The toilet is in between tables so imagine someone using the toilet and you sitting on a date by the toilet! Not ideal. They added service change on the bill when all I could hear is the waitress in the back laughing with the chief, the walls are thin!!! We were not greated when we came in and I had to go up to them to ask for a menu. Please relook at the way you are making Lebanese food because it’s...
