UPS HAVE MESSED UP MY DELIVERY! THEY ARE WORSE THAN THE LOCAL BOUTIQUE COURIER!!! PLEASE COUNT THIS AS ZERO-STAR REVIEW!
My delivery (tracking number: 1ZB904766825565980) was supposed to happen on Thu 19-Jun; but at 03.57am on that day, the following message appeared on the Tracking portal (no email/phone notification - just an entry that takes several clicks to get to): "A late UPS trailer arrival has delayed delivery. Delivery will be delayed by one business day." On Fri 20-Jun at 09.48am, another notification appeared on the Tracking portal: "The apartment number is either missing or incorrect. This may delay delivery. We're attempting to update the address". They did nothing to update the address, so at noon I called UPS Customer Support to correct the address (which was incomplete THROUGH NO FAULT OF MINE, BUT THROUGH UPS' FAULT). The CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENT TOLD ME THAT THE DELIVERY WOULD HAPPEN HAPPEN ON SAT 21-JUN. Later in the day (Fri 20-Jun) the UPS delivery driver called my cell number, with the same story: "Sorry, sir, there was no flat number on the delivery address" - in an incredibly broken English (which can hardly be called English at all). After a bit of to-ing and fro-ing, I gave him the house number. And HE ALSO TOLD ME THAT THE DELIVERY WOULD HAPPEN ON SAT 21-JUN (!) EVEN ASKING ME IF THERE WOULD BE SOMEONE AT HOME ON SAT 21-JUN. Which I confirmed it would. I stayed home all day on Sat 21-Jun, waiting for the package - which (at close-of-business on Saturday 21-Jun) is still not here!
THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE LEVEL OF CUSTOMER 'SERVICE' FROM UPS: accepting packages with incomplete address (which I had obviously given the Seller, when ordering the package); drivers not knowing when package details are updated in the 'system' - even after 5 hours; Customer Service lying about the delivery dates.

Read moreWe had the most horrible service by UPS. Our delivered scheduled on the Friday, one week after and at least 10 calls after, we are still waiting for our package to be delivered. This is at the depot and for some reason does not get out for delivery. Every time we call we get a promise of a sort of F/U which never arrives. I was promised a call by a manager from the Depot which never arrived. My boyfriend was promised an email with updates which, you guess...never arrived! It was suggested we make a claim online, however as the package is not lost (they scan it at the depot daily) the system does not allow to proceed. I suggested I go collect this from the depot, as I believe the issue is they have too many packages and can't cop with the requests, and they said this is not possible. This morning, at 10:30am, I tracked the package again and there was an update saying "Delivered at 15:20". With proof of delivery and all. Received apparently by my boyfriend who's not even at home. I called again, to ask explanation and understand if the package is actually out for delivery. The package is still at the depot. This is a joke! the company is a joke! We are receivers and did not pay for the delivery so we can't even ask for a refund for the amount of the parcel we are waiting (not a cheap one), and the sender is not being helpful neither. So we literally can do nothing but wait! just frustrating. I would not recommend this...
Read moreAvoid avoid avoid avoid. Avoid like the plague. Use anyone else wherever possible and only if absolutely desperate should you even consider this company (we recommend parcelhero). We used them for several years and accepted the delays and missing deliveries and lack of accurate tracking etc as you can see from the rest of the reviews. The last straw however was when they reached out to us after 4 months to tell us that they "audited" one of our shipments and needed to more than DOUBLE the price (an extra £583). We were quite surprised as we had sent multiple packages with them (all our shipments are the same size), and for each shipment we went to the office to get the staff to weigh and measure the exact size in order to avoid any misunderstandings. I highlight: the package was weighed and measured by UPS staff. Regardless a few months later we end up getting chased for payment, we refused on the grounds that it was unreasonable and did not make sense, and insisted on getting an invoice detailing the reason for the new charges. Instead of sending us an updated invoice UPS instead decided to use it's muscle (we are only a small family business) and got the collectors involved and we had to give up and pay the extortion fee to avoid being dragged into a lengthy dispute that could have killed our business.
